I want to be fair to the device. It was able to provide me NextGen cable but the remote is very finnicky. I originally had the box behind the TV but the remote couldnt reach it there so I had to have the device visible for my remote to aim at it to work. Also, I understood that to watch it, I knew I had to switch my TV to HDMI, but I didnt realize how annoying that would be. Feels like a waste to lose a HDMI slot only to be able to watch like 6-10 Next Gen channels.
Now, moving from the device itself... I live in the Chicago suburbs and I was disappointed that the NextGen channel for the winter olympics looked exactly the same as the regular channel did. As soon as I was convinced that the picture looked basically the same, I decided to return this device. I would recommend you try this device to see if your OTA channels come in better with ATSC 3.0, but if they don't, I can't recommend keeping this device.
