Part of contents were missing in box

It did not have the seed pod kit and plant food that was supposed to be included. Can't use it until I have the pods. So can't give a good review of this aerogarden since I'm not able to use it yet.

Buttons Do Not Work

I have read online that this is a problem with this model. Without use of the buttons, there is no way to set the timer for the light so plants do not sprout. Unfortunately, I didn't open it until after the return period and Best Buy will not exchange it. This model should have been recalled by the manufacturer.

The buttons on the Harvest Elite are heat and touch-sensitive. When you setup your garden, the first thing you want to do is adjust your settings. To access the menu, press the green leaf button 2 times. Lightly touch the green leaf button to get to the main menu, then push the green button again to access the controls. You can then scroll through the settings using the up and down arrows.
The first thing to do when setting up your garden for the first time is go through the "Start a Garden" process. This will walk you through the steps to set the clock to your local time and then select the type of plant you will be growing (i.e. herbs, lettuce, flowers, etc). Press the Green Leaf button 2 times, use the arrows to scroll down through the menu until you see the option to "Start a Garden." Follow the directions on the garden itself. You will use the Green Leaf button as the "okay" button to select.

**Please note that the arrow buttons will only work if there are little arrows in the LCD screen. If they are not there, please use the green leaf button to select.

Missing product
