This aftermarket controller is descent it has a shorter life span than the OEM but you get what you pay for.

The item was purchased as an alternate means of access Wii U. Once the battery is put in place, you can easily identify the unit is powered up. Unit is priced just right and an excellent alternative in comparison to the an original branded Wii U controller.

I didn't realize this controller didn't come with a wii motion plus and the last game I played I had to turn my wii u off and back on to get it to sync (and for whatever reason it doesn't stay synced) but for the price I'd say it's a good buy.

These seemed like a good deal in the store, however our kids have had some problems with them malfunctioning -- apparently not an uncommon problem with non-Nintendo products of this type.
