It worked the same as if I had purchased one from Nintendo. The only difference is the price. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a replacement.

I would buy this after market game controller all the time! it's cheaper, works great, and clear so you can immediately see the condition of the batteries.

Had to replace both sets under warranty. If you buy these, you MUST PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. My kids are being kids with these and the warranty has come in handy. BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY.

I like this controller for the fact that it lights completely up. It is not my first color choice, but my husband loves it for when we have to sneak and play while the kids are sleep, lol.

This controller is cheaper than the Wii U original ones and does exactly the same job. Also lights up with nice blue LED lighting.

Same remote as the regular wii remote. Nothing different. Save your money and purchase this instead of the other ones.

This is the second set I have purchased, now my son has his own set. Great value and works great with the WII.

The bright lights are pretty intense. You can turn off all of them but one, which is normally covered by your thumb anyway, but it is still a bit distracting. Also, the remote seemed to be a bit unresponsive at first while playing MarioKart, but since has improved. Not sure what the change was, maybe fresh batteries?

Needed a New controller forward my Wii. I enjoy the new controller. Works better than the old one.

Button arrangement is a little different than OG nintendo controllers but it works great and lights up.

Being that this is see-through, it's a little hard for us adults to see the buttons, but the kids know where they are by touch!

Possibly the worst controller I have purchased, it broke the first time we tried to use it. Unfortunately we had accidentally thrown out the packaging or I would have returned it. I will stick with genuine Nintendo controllers from now on as this is the latest in a series of controller fails.
