Great headphones that let you hear what’s happening around you. Sound doesn’t have a good bass. Controls are very small. Bit expensive

Biking and working safely for 2 reason

I bought these to ride bike and work around the house without being wired to my iPhone. The reasons I chose these is so besides being wireless are: I can still hear the sounds of my surroundings, (which is very important when you are biking near other humans or vehicles). AND, I didn't want 2 separate ear buds connecting via radio waves going through brain. They work great. Often I actually forget I have them on. Bottom line: They work for my purposes. :-)

Sound great. Easy to use and I love how easy they are to put on. Wish they had an adjustable band.

I purchased these for work so I can zone out but still hear my surroundings and it has worked great. I tried them on an airplane and was able to hear the pilot while listening to music. However it is hard to hear over loud noises so had to put in ear plugs to really hear my music over the engine noise. These are a great for people needing to be aware of their surroundings and have pretty good quality for what they do.

Received as a gift. I had wanted them for riding my bike both outside and indoors. Outside to hear my music and traffic and inside to hear my family if they needed me while I’m on the trainer. In both situations, these work great. The music quality is decent. A little muffled sometimes but I think that is because of the bone conduction technology. And I can’t turn them up past about 60-70% or my inner ears start vibrating and I don’t like that feeling. But with all that said, definitely worth it and works as expected. They also connect to my phone very quickly.

Treks air do deliver on their promise of lightweight, yet powerful, slim design. I purchased these for using under a motorcycle helmet and they work amazing. Of course as per included, use the earplugs if you ride such as I do to get max bass and sound quality. The unit works great even without the earplugs since you can still be aware of sounds nearby. I usually wear them without the plugs, they're good enough that way too.

+ lightweight + good battery life - some sound quality degradation I've used them with/without ear plugs. With ear plugs you get as much noise proofing as the plugs are rated for - basically much more than any in-ear headphones - great on the plane. Without ear plugs it allowed me to exercise at the gym while watching Youtube and still be aware of my surroundings. Most awesome thing for me is that I connected them to my phone and my tablet so I can switch between the two seamlessly - no paring required every single time I switch.

This is the third pair of headphones (all different models) that I have had from Aftershokz. While the sound isn’t as immersive as using in ear or “can” style headphones, the trade-off is more than worth being able to hear my surrounding environment. I wear this while I work and while doing physics activities such as mountain biking. I never have to worry about being surprised, or having my headphones fall off my head. When these wear out, I will likely buy them again.

This works perfect for mountain biking. I ride through the streets to get to my local trail and I can hear traffic around me. On the trails I can hear other bikes coming up on me and also hear the wildlife. Stays in place nice. Only wish it had a little bit more bass and was a little bit louder when wearing them around the house. Best Buy had a great sale on them, I ordered them online and picked them up at curbside with no problems. Took less than an hour from the time I ordered until I had them.

This headphone works by using the bone near the eardrum to conduct the music, pod, whatever. I don’t know the science I just know it works for me. Over ear headphones are too sweaty when working out. In ear starts to really hurt after an hour or so. Plus you always lose the foam tips or it is hard plastic against the bones in your ear. Never fun. These also let you hear sounds around you so much better so if you run or bike where there is traffic you will be much better off from a safety perspective.

Amazing! I have had your surgery ( otoplasty ) so my ears aren’t flexible at all, they’re pinned to my head. Air buds have never been an option due to the pressure / pain. I discovered these 2 weeks ago and they’re life changing. The only thing I hate, is I have really long hair, and I do have to keep my hair in a ponytail because of the way it wraps around the back of your head.
