Sounds excellent for listening to music and audio books.
Generally quite comfortable, but I do get a bit of ear fatigue after 6-8 hours and may switch to headphones or earbuds at that point. I think the ear fatigue is from pressure on the top of the earlobe where the band hooks over the ear. I could probably use a slightly larger curve to loop around the ears, but I imagine that varies from person to person.
Battery life is good for my needs (which involves listening at work and during breaks).
Although it can remember multiple devices, it does not have a easy way to switch between them. Instead defaulting to whichever device was most recently used. To switch, you need to turn off the current Bluetooth transmitter to force the AfterShokz to find the other device.

Perfect for Work Environments

I purchased this set of bone conducting headphones to use in an office environment where people constantly come up and talk to me or talk to me over their cubicle wall. The problem with regular headphones (in ear or over ear) is that when people talk to you, you can't hear them unless they're loud. These headphones sit in front of the ear sending vibrations through the bones to your inner ear, and the volume is not over-powering. You can enjoy your music and still hear what's going on around you. You can carry on a conversation while still hearing your music and focus on both. When used for jogging/walking, you will hear vehicles coming. I highly recommend them.

This is the second pair of AfterShockz I’ve purchased. I first bought the Titanium and it last for about 2 years. I’ve decided to purchase the Air and happy with longer battery life, better sound, and lighter weight. Awesome headphones.

I’ve been very happy with my first pair of AfterShokz! They’re so great for wearing when I don’t want to completely tune out my surroundings. Battery life is great. Charge time is quick. Pairing was easy. Comfortable to wear. Minor annoyance where sunglasses and the headphones both rest on top of my ear. Another minor annoyance is the buzzy vibration on my temples when they’re cranked up. Overall they’re a great concept and a game changer for maintaining situational awareness.

This is the best Bluetooth headset of the four I have owned. The sound is good. The Bluetooth reception is virtually uninterrupted. The batteries last as advertised. They stay in place during physical activities. The voice prompts are useful.

The sound is great, these are comfortable and the best thing they don’t go in my ears, so there’s no soreness if I wear them all day. Also, Bluetooth is really strong, no static. Really love these!

These conduct sound through your bone near your ear. If you are worried about your hair then you most likely won't want these. I travel a lot and these last longer than what is stated in the product brochure. When used with earplugs the volume and bass is much louder. On a plane with ear plugs, there is no ambient sound. Noise cancelling ear or headphones only work with low frequency sound but these combined with earplugs eliminate about 95 % of all sound. That screaming and crying baby will not be heard and your movies and music will be nice and loud with more volume to turn up, if you want.

Great sound but I would like them to be a little louder. But only due poor hearing and background noise is distracting.
I use everyday all day for phone and a little music. They last all day under normal usage.

Love these things! There is a reason bone conduction headphones are so popular. Aftershokz is the top dog in the bone conduction game. You can't go wrong.

Easy set up, sound is incredible. I saw this headsets a bit ago but it wasn't until now that I decided to give them a try. I'm impressed you listen to your music while riding your bike without being distracted at all since you can still listen the traffic and other riders around you. Plus it looks like it holds a lot of power, charged it once and been using it for three or four times and still have juice for a few more rides. Can't be more pleased with this purchase.

If you want to run or bike, and need to hear whats going on around you, this is a great choice. The battery lasts for your daily workout session. Includes USB charging cable and a carrying case. My one concern, (and this has never happened to me) is to charge the device, you have to remove a piece of attached rubber to expose the charger. It's pretty strong and prevents sweat from getting in, but pull it too hard and you might rip it off. And keep in mind that if you want strong bass, look elsewhere. If you want to hear what's going on around you, buy it.

I bought these head phones almost a month ago. I am impressed with their flexibility and durability. I enjoy that I can wear them playing music- and can be at least 90% able to hear what’s going on around me.
I purchased these so I could go walking in the evening, still listen to music, my 17 year old son borrows them and going climbing/bouldering.
Pro: it’s wonderful to listen to music and still be aware.
Light weight
Pretty good battery life.
Cons; the fit is just a little too big. I often you a clip to hold them in place more securely.
Sound quality is good- but you can’t expect beats or Bose quality. (And to be fair- they at at least $100 cheaper that those two brands
I would deff purchase again. They deff have a niche in my life

I had already purchased one for myself but after explaining the headset to my brother in Texas, he wanted one ( bought for his birthday!)! Was using it one day when we were talking and he couldn’t believe how clear it was! Same thing happened with my daughter in Ohio, & now I have to get her one (Christmas)! The only thing that I wish they would change is to move the volume buttons (i.e. on/off - middle button, which not only turns the headset on & off, but increases volume and allows you to enter the pairing mode & more). I can only use the end button to decrease volume. Due to this configuration, I have somehow changed the language that lets you know that it is on, have paired, etc... The other complaint I have is that the headset is not adjustable, being a woman, my head is smaller than most men’s head. I love walking with mine so that I can listen to my music, take calls, pause the music if I need to stop & talk with a neighbor, skip a song, etc. However, this is all controlled by the slightly elevated button on the left side of the headset. So, if they re-configured the headset to place the controls on the right side, except for the charging port, they would be excellent! In all fairness to the company that designed this headset, I’m a disabled veteran that suffers from hand tremors, which I’m sure plays a huge part in my problems with the buttons. Their customer support is great and has provided detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to reset my unit! So, even with a few issues, they still deserve 5+ stars,,,

I was skeptic about the quality of sound on this earphone. To my big surprise - the sound is great!!! The earphone sits outside of your ear tunnel which make it extremely comfortable for long use. The fact that nothing is blocking your ear tunnel allows you to keep these one with no impact on your ongoing activities. The battery life is OK (it will not last for a full day if you will be using them all the time but it is fair enough for a normal use). The quality of the product itself is very impressive and the sound as I mentioned is very good as well. I use them for phone calls and podcast/music listening. So far (2 months of intensive use) - no complaints.

No pun intended but the Aftershokz Trekz Air headphones have truly opened my ears. I now listen to music and take phone calls for 4-6 hours a day with these. I have given them a Doza Down low score of 9.25. Why?

I bought these because where I work we can no longer wear headphones. I must say that I am impressed. These are very comfortable to wear for 12 hours. The battery will last more than 6 hrs as stated. When I use these for 12 hours my battery level is at medium. NO COMPALINTS. These are pricey but very comfortable and loud. I have no problem hearing my music over loud presses. When you wear ear plugs the sound gets louder. I am a bass person and these are pretty impressive. Pricey but worth it. The best. I first purchased the titanium and they made my ears hurt , the $50 more is worth the comfort. The phone works great too. I love these. I highly recommend these to everyone.
