Good for workouts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely different. Sound comes in clear. Not great bass but I love that I can still hear surroundings as I workout.

Love this product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have sensitive inner ears and cannot tolerate the insert headphones. These were light weight and comfortable. I was able to clearly hear my music/audio books and still here what was going on in the immediate environment. Ear plugs are included if you need these to decrease environmental noise.

Excellent product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fits well. Purchased these with the sole purpose of exercising. They stay in place, don't hurt my head, and are loud. I would prefer 2 things, they come with an AC charger and they come with a sleeve for the heads to use when wearing (to keep the sweat off them). They are sweat resistant but keeping the sweat off them are my preference. I absolutely love these when running. I don't like outside of the ear headphones and earbuds hurt my ears and fall out repeatedly.

Great for runners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so I've been looking for a set of headphones to use while running and working out at the gym. my prerequisites were that they be sweat proof, and be comfortable to wear for a prolonged period of time while running or working out. I was set to spend a gob of money to get so called "sport" headphones that fit in the ear canal when I happened to cross these. I will say, the sound quality is not like Bose or Beats or any of the other high end products (and don't get me wrong, the sound's not too shabby). but where it lacks in sound quality it makes up with comfort, and if you're out and about, safety. I can both hear the music very well, and still be able to hear what's going on around me, without the discomfort of hot sweaty ears. so to get started, charging the unit took maybe an hour or so. pairing was simple. hold a button for a few seconds, and the unit will announce that it's paired up. power on, the unit announces connection, and it's time to rock and roll. I have an average sized head. so fit was as advertised. while running, there was no bounce, the headphones stayed in place. I didn't need to turn the volume up too high, probably mid range, to hear the music. and I was still able to hear my surroundings clearly. since the unit sits outside of the ear, I didn't get the case of hot ears, and so far, sweat hasn't been an issue. doing yardwork, I was still able to hear my music clearly even when using power tools.

Work great and great battery life.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup, they connected to my phone without issue. Great sound without blocking my ears. I don't have to remove ear buds to hear people, just pause the music. I can listen to music throughout my work day without needing to recharge. All of this and they still sound great. They are also very light weight I wear them all day without any discomfort.

Great sound without being in the ear.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound for not being in the ear. Noise reduction? Well, I have been getting in trouble for not listening to what my husband has been telling me when he is sitting next to me because I didn't know he was talking to me. I couldn't hear him. So, that could either be a bad thing OR a good thing:) I get a lot of nasal drainage and my ears can feel stuffy at times. That was one of the main reasons I purchased these headphones. They are doing a great job.

Hear better
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Actually bought first pair in 2018, and a pair of ‘air’ in 2019. Both had exceptional sound. I wear the ‘air’ Trekz all during work day -10 hours straight- and they are extremely comfortable. The original Trekz were less so. I work outside- big machines running in background, people talking, wind, rain, lots of dirt- and these bone in headphones meet all the challenges of the environment. Because there are no wires- they don’t get caught on anything, secure they don’t even move on my head. They don’t plug up my ears so I can still hear the outside world if I need, plus my ears don’t feel gross. They aren’t bulky- so wearing a cap, or beanie is still comfortable. The sound is fantastic. Music is like a symphony piped right into your head- fantastic. Phone calls- easy to answer and hang up without taking my phone out- and the sound is crystal clear. Really! Try them. Now because of Covid, wearing glasses, Trekz, and mask -all around ears- kind of a lot. But I wouldn’t trade them for anything else.

Good, not great, but very useful
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these so that I had better awareness of my surroundings - vehicle traffic and other pedestrians - while exercising in my neighborhood. In that respect, they are great. They come with a set of soft foam earplugs if you want to block out most sound. They are very lightweight, but I do find myself fidgeting around with the proper placement at times. The sound is just okay. Remarkable for how the sound gets to your ears, but nothing special, and not as good as my other earbuds/headphones. I do find if a song is bass heavy in certain frequencies, it causes a vertigo-like sensation, so I have to play with the volume if I'm listening to a Pandora or satellite station where I don't know what the next song will be.

Great headphones for active people
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable. Able to hear what's going on around me, which is very important when using a headset in New York. Love the sound quality.

Surprisingly great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to purchase theses because some running events are not allowing headphones. The sound quality was great! I wish the band was expandable/collapsible. It was too big so it it didn’t stay in place. The battery life is as advertised at 3-4 hours.

Had Potential but Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited to get these headphones. While I thought the sound quality of the bone conduction was very good, to get a fuller sound you need to use the included foam earplugs. But the real disappointment with this device was the microphone quality. Absolutely terrible. Every time I would make or receive a phone call, people would tell me I was either breaking up, transmitting heavy static or producing a echo sound. I would always need to disconnect and go to a normal phone call. Very frustrating as I casually bought these for work. If it was just for listening to music or podcasts, they would have been fine. But the fact that the mic was so bad was a deal breaker and I ended up returning them to the store. I was able to get a normal Bluetooth headset (neckband style) that are working much better. Also, these can be be a bit tight on the head after a while. And when you need to take them off of your head, the natural tendency is to put them around your neck, which also feels kind of tight, especially on the blood flow through the neck. So to recap, these are great if you just want to listen but terrible on phone calls. They may become uncomfortable over an extended period of time. But maybe I just had a defective pair.

Great headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got my AfterShokz tonight I have been researching and debating whether or not to purchase them for a while now. I am SO happy I did. The sound quality is good, they are well made, and fit well. I was initially worried about the fit because I have a small head and I wear glasses. The AfterShokz do not make my glasses uncomfortable and they fit well around my head and ears. I bought these because traditional earbuds and over-ear headphones hurt my ears, this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.

great headphones for working or walking
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this headphone. I donate platelets every 2 weeks at our local blood center. I needed a headphone that would allow me to hear and speak with the One Blood techs. as I give my donation. This headphone set allows me to do this and the sound does not fill the room with the sound as I converse with the techs. This is a good thing I don't have to remove earbuds to converse. The sound is great I mean it's not $300 sounding but I am usually just watching a movie or tv on my Amazon Fire tab. hooked in with the Bluetooth app. The sound is loud enough for me. (due to the fact I also have hearing aids in my ears.) I can turn up the sound either on the headphones or turn up the sound in my hearing aids. Some have said that the headphones aren't loud enough that maybe but I have a slite advantage with my hearing aids, so it's really hard for me to know if they need to be made so they are louder.

Best Jogging Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these headphones for jogging. The strap is flexible and strong so it shouldn't break down. The old models had the firm backs but now these really grip to my head. Great sound quality and no ear ache from buds. Charge lasts for many runs, haven't tested how long it lasts but I plug it in every 10 runs or so without any issue. Highly recommend.

Finally, a product that just works!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great. I had very high expectations and they came through on almost everything. Pros: - They stay on your head during intense exercise, or bike riding - They allow you to still be aware of sounds in your surroundings, making them safer to use for exercise and bike riding - The battery life is AMAZING! I have had over 10+ hours of use - Microphone is good, so making phone calls is great Con: - The audio quality for music is not as great as in-ear headphones or over ear headphones.

Great workout headphones!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried a variety of headphones to use when working out- ear buds, over the ear, behind the neck. These are the most comfortable of them all. The sound quality is good with the added plus that you can still hear your surroundings. And they hold their charge.

Genius!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure who invented these or came up with the idea, but, these headphones are incredible! Exactly what I was looking for! It's like living your life to your very own soundtrack. Listen to your music and still hear everything around you and be able to carry on a conversation at normal speaking levels! Want the world to disappear, throw in the ear plugs! Then all you have is good clean sound!

Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given these 5 stars but I had to return them. They made the back of my ears sore, everything else about them was great. I purchased the Trekz Air for $50 more and they are so much lighter and nicer. I wear them at work for more than 12 hours and the battery level is at medium. I play music all day long. The sound is also very impressive, keep in mind for bone conduction. Both models are about the same, the air are lighter and more comfortable. Some of the men I work with have no problems with pain behind the ears so I guess it depends on the person. I am a female and another female I work with had the same problems. we both returned and bought the air and the air is sooooo comfy.

Required for working in the plant
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They work fine but in my opinion they're no different from other headphones. If you wear the above your cheekbone you can barely hear the music. If you wear them close to the tragus you can barely hear your surroundings. Plus side is that they're durable and have an excellent warranty. Catch them on sale.
