I use these for running frequently. They fit great and are very light weight. I forget I have them on when no sound is coming out. Reason they do not get a better star is because I purchased a year ago and the mic has stopped working and the sound doesn't sound nearly as good or loud as other headsets. Terrible bass if that's what you're into. I've recommended to other runners, but they had an issue and had to replace within two months. Unfortunately I will not recommend to others.

I bought these for a specific need. These are great while driving or exercising or at work when you want to listen to music and still hear what’s going on around you. They Bluetooth to your phone and answering calls is easy. The sound could use improvement. That would be my only complaint, but it’s good overall. These do not work in a noisy environment because they are basically a open back style of headphone. They are also a bit pricey but are very durable and work well.

I use these daily riding my bike to the beach here in Florida. After over a month they're still holding up great with the constant moisture they deal with outside. As for feeling, they're mostly unnoticeable for me (in a great way), and I generally find that I have them on even when I'm not listening. It takes a couple minutes to get a hang of the fact that what you hear, nobody else in the room can hear, even though the acoustics make it seem like they should Definitely recommend these for anybody looking to listen to their music/podcasts but not shut out the world

Call quality was truly impressive. Friends couldn't even tell I was using a headset. For sound, it is a unique experience. It is a weird unknown feeling at first, then a soothing message. Volume gets louder than expected for not being in your ear canal. Everyone that I let try it wants one. Don't expect a Bose quality sound, it is a different experience. You can feel the bass. Very hard to describe because I have never felt anything like it. It also give you the ability to hear your surrounds while using them because they don't block your ears like average headsets.

read all the great reviews and so wanted to love these headphones - in fact i threw away all the packaging before i really tried it out (bad move). two major problems, the part that goes around your neck is not adjustable so for me, it keeps hitting the back of my shirt, jacket, whatever and gets bumped around. next, when i'm outside, if i'm walking near a road with cars passing by i need to constantly adjust the volume. i like not having the earphones in my ear but overall, wish i had bought a different set of headphones. : (

I bought these as they had a great pricepoint and had the multipoint feature so I could connect both my personal and work phone at the same time. I tend to wear them for about an hour straight before I need to take them off as my ears are hurting from how they sit on them. Also not a fan of how they sit on the back of my head/neck, wish that was adjustable some how. If you plan on only wearing for short amounts of time and need/want multipoint I would recommend for that.

So I was scriptural about buying these for $100 having never used bone conduction previously. WOW! What a difference. I am in love with these. Sound quality is good, plenty of volume and ability to hear surroundings or block them out with ear plugs. Great for in the car or extended wearing. Earbuds and phones would hurt my ears after a while. I have never had any pain or discomfort with these. They amaze me and I love wearing them.

For me, it is an incredible head set. I can hear the music better than my DR Beats headphones and still hear the cars approaching me from behind when running. I will admit because of my age I have some minor hearing loss so using the bone conductance headset may be a factor for the improve sound performance. The only issues is wearing glasses require some adjustment to make a comfortable fit and the wool caps must be stretched over the titanium band.

I bought these because I was looking for wireless headphones, but do not like the over the ear headphones and the in-ear ones have trouble staying in my ears. These work great albeit take some time to get use to them. Only 4 stars because the sound quality isn't amazing, but perfect for what I use them for (gym, yard work). Finally, I like that I can have them on and still hear my surroundings. I haven't tried them yet, but I plan on wearing them during the next road vacation to listen to my music while still being able to hear people ask me a question.

Never Going Back To In-Ear Buds

The quality of the sound is outstanding, the comfort is I-forget-I'm-wearing-them amazing, and the ability to have situational awareness is just great. So far I've used the headset while listening to audiobooks and music, indoors and outside, while walking and using an elliptical machine. Reviewers are correct in saying the bass is a little less intense than in-ear buds provide, but I don't even notice the difference after just a few minutes. The sound quality is absolutely fine. There's just no way I'd go back to in-ear buds now.

The Trekz works as described on the packaging. I would have liked for the neckband to have been adjustable. It was unpleasant driving with the Trekz on because it would rest against the headrest. I had to keep my head straight and couldn't relax my neck because the neckband wasn't adjustable. Finally, you should wear ear plugs when using the Trekz if you want to reduce all of the outside noise which isn't a problem with traditional headphone that plug into your ear canal.

I don't know if I buy the hype that these are "Bone Conducting" but it is VERY nice to have a headphone that you can still hear the outside noise. Whether it is while you are exercising or in an office, being completely cut off from every noise around you is not always what you want, and it definitely isn't safe. The sound comes from the speakers near the ear orifice, but yet when you put in ear plugs you Can still hear...so maybe there is "some" bone conduction, but not what I expected. Good product, but not exactly what it claims.

I bought these strictly for running and bicycling. I have a big issue with watching other cyclist wearing over the ear or in the ear headphones. Taking away your sense of hearing what is around you is very dangerous on the bike. These headphones allow me to still listen to music but fully hear card/other cyclist/ pedestrians around me. It can get “windy” if I’m cycling fast or into a strong headwind, but that should be expected. I feel like some reviewers think these headphones should eliminate wind noise but who are they kidding.

I bought these because they are NOT earbuds. I worry about destroying my hearing with earbuds. They are good enough, but not comfortable to wear since I wear glasses. They fit above your ears and have a not very flexible band running around the back of your head. The sound is a good quality, that comes out just below your ear, so no fear of hurting your ears with these (unless you turn the volume too loud, as with any device). I want something better, because of the way they fit under my glasses, but nothing is out there yet.

One of the biggest problems I have with Bluetooth headphones is them slipping while running. They get loose in my ear when they have the buds, or the collar behind the head pulls them out. These are light but snug and the fact that sit on your cheekbone to transmit the sound to your ear means they don't slip. The fact that I can hear everything else while listening to my music is just as awesome. I love them. I'll buy these again before I ever buy a pair of Beats.

Bought this item to be used for running and the gym. PROS: Doea not fall off when running and moving around. Can hear surrounding noise so it's safe to use when jogging in busy streets. Holds up charge well. CONS: Not ideal for the gym because of all the background noise, you can barely hear the music and if you put volume high it makes an uncomfortable vibrating sensation to the cheeks. Sound quality is not very good for the price.

I just got my AfterShokz tonight I have been researching and debating whether or not to purchase them for a while now. I am SO happy I did. The sound quality is good, they are well made, and fit well. I was initially worried about the fit because I have a small head and I wear glasses. The AfterShokz do not make my glasses uncomfortable and they fit well around my head and ears. I bought these because traditional earbuds and over-ear headphones hurt my ears, this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.

I purchased this headset to replace the Trekz Air that I was very happy with, that had stopped taking a charge. I find this model to be a little uncomfortable and makes the tops of my ears ache . Good new is that the company is very responsive and mailed me a replacement Trekz Air as the first one was under 2 yrs old. So, very happy with the product and more so with customer service.

These headphones are great. I had very high expectations and they came through on almost everything. Pros: - They stay on your head during intense exercise, or bike riding - They allow you to still be aware of sounds in your surroundings, making them safer to use for exercise and bike riding - The battery life is AMAZING! I have had over 10+ hours of use - Microphone is good, so making phone calls is great Con: - The audio quality for music is not as great as in-ear headphones or over ear headphones.

So, not having been used to bone-conduction: definitely had to get used to it. When you first use this type of headphones, don't use for too long of an extended period. I tried for a couple hours first go and started getting a little bit of a headache. But now that I'm used to it, I use them all the time. They work wonderfully, and easily switch connections between devices. Great sound quality, and very nice to use for conference calls.
