I was first put off buy the way they fit. It took a day or so to get use to them same as the vibrations from bass. This headset works very well to the point I rarely have it up all the way and it's loud in my work. I will say if you like deep bass then this headset will not be the best for you but Luther than that I have no complaints.

Well crafted, solid construction. Fits well, on both my wife's head, which is small, and my own, which is about medium size. Good connection with the temples and comfortable to wear. It is important to remember this is a bone conduction device, so it may become uncomfortable at high volumes. In addition, the bass response is not very good, although it can be greatly improved by using the provided foam earplugs, although that may nullify the reason for buying them. For the spoken word, such as recorded books or podcasts, they are perfect.

I use these for running frequently. They fit great and are very light weight. I forget I've them on when no sound is coming out. Reason they do not get a better star is because I purchased a year ago and the mic has stopped working and the sound doesn't sound nearly as good or loud as other headsets. Terrible bass if that's what you're into. I've recommended to other runners, but they had an issue and had to replace within two months. Unfortunately I will not recommend to others.

I had these for two month that I use regularly on my cycling club rides usually 2-hr rides. I was skeptical at first but they work better than I expected. Of course the bass is not as good as in ear headphones but not bad at all(will vibrate with heavy bass). The battery life is great in my opinion; I recently did a century ride and it lasted the whole ride(6 hrs) with off and on again rain!! The only negative I see is that when riding with these I feel that the sound of wind is much more pronounced at speeds higher that 20mph. This may be a design flaw that pulls wind into the ear canal at the high speeds since the unit sits in front of the ear but I'm that's my take on it. Definetly worth the money if you want to hear music but still be a safe cyclist.

These headphones are best used for listening to podcasts or taking phone calls. What I love about them is that it leaves your ears completely open. You can be more aware of your surroundings and if your using them to talk on the phone you don't feel like you need to yell to hear yourself. What they aren't good at is music. All bass is lost unless you plug your ears which then defeats the purpose of the headphones. It's does come with a pair of earplugs for when you are in a safe area like "on a train" which I think is funny. Battery life lasts about 6 hours maybe a little more. I have glasses and they work fine with them on, but if they aren't sitting right it can be a little uncomfortable. I did a 5 mile run with them and had no issues. Obviously when being active you are going to hear things like wind so you'll need to have the volume up louder to still hear. They are also not quiet to others around you, it sounds like you took off your headphones and left the music playing.

I had a friend who introduced me to these headphones. They are a wrap around style and not individual headphones. They fit well around my head. Pairing the headphone to my iPhone X was very simple and quick. Excited to try out the headphones I was a bit disappointed. They didn't sound as good I was hoping. Very limited bass and very flat highs. It does work great for podcasts and listening to my audio books. I also like the fact that I can hear all ambient sounds as well while listening to books or music which is a definite plus. All in all I would recommend these headphones for those who need to hear their environment while liking to listen to music. Also they are great for podcasts and audiobooks. If you like tight bass and and good quality headphones try the Bose or Sony headphones.

The packaging for this item is more than enough to protect it from damage in shipping. Very well packaged. The advertised items included were there and ready for use. The head phones were easy to pair and ready to go right out of the box. I got them in use right away. The sound quality is fabulous. They seem to have plenty of base which normally is not found in head phones. I enjoyed the sound quality the most with out ear plugs in. With ear plugs in the sound seemed muffled sort of like being under water but after a few minutes that feeling subsided. With the ear plugs not in the sound was the best. But at higher volumes people around me could hear the music. In no way was I able to hear someone next to me and talk to them with music playing. I removed them every time. The quality seemed high end and durability is excellent. I did plenty of work with these on and they were comfortable and had flawless sound. I let my teenage daughter and her friends try them for a few days and they loved them. When I saw a friend wearing a pair of Trekz, I was intrigued, so he let me try them out. I'd heard about bone conduction headphones, but had never had the chance to try them. I was impressed by how well they worked! If you're considering these, you shouldn't be evaluating them like you would any other pair of traditional headphones. Due to the way they work, they'ren't going to sound as good nor as loud as the better versions of in-ear monitors. But that's not a bad thing, and I'll try to explain. Trekz are marketed to highlight the fact that they don't block up the ear canal like other headphones. This becomes valuable if you're wearing them while running or doing other strenuous activities. From a safety perspective, being able to still hear ambient sounds while listening to your tunes is a definite advantage. It's also oddly satisfying to be able to walk around an office building listening to something while still being able to hear people you pass saying hello to you. You don't feel like you're in a movie with the sound muted. The sound quality of these is quite good. They do lack bass, but that's just because they're getting the sound to your ears using your cheekbones, and not the ear canal. If you want to improve the overall tone of the music, you can plug your ears with the included ear plugs, but that kinda defeats the whole purpose of the Trekz. Yes, they come with ear plugs--it's pretty cool. What I didn't think of right away is how valuable these are as a hands-free headset for phone calls. They feature dual microphones which do a great job of picking up your voice. My wife always complained about other hands-free headsets I've used, but she has no complaints about the Trekz-we can hear each other very clearly. An added bonus is that I can keep them on while driving if I'm waiting for a call, and I don't have to feel like it's annoying to try to listen to the car radio. This has become one of my favorite ways to use these. One of the great things about the Trekz is how easy it's to get a good fit. They slip over your ears and settle in easily right where they belong. They don't pinch the ears and can be worn comfortably for long periods of time. The headband goes around behind the head and is very light and mostly not noticed. The only time I don't like it's when I'm wearing a coat with a high collar, but that's not really a big deal. So, should you buy these or spring for the newer model? Actually, I don't think there's enough improvement to spend 50% more. Do yourself a favor and get these! Oh, one more thing. If you play music with more bass, you'll notice that the Trekz cause you to feel vibrations in your cheekbones and ears. It's pretty annoying, but I'm getting used to it. I think this is really the only major thing against the Trekz, but it's not enough to ruin them. I've found myself enjoying these much more than I thought I'd. They're great to use while running, or just around the office. Give them a try!

    Outstanding Technology!

This is a review for the AfterShokz Trekz Titanium Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. After using this excellent system for several days, I have come to terms with this new technology. Never have I been able to stay in tune with the world that surrounds me while listening to my favorite music or while communicating during a phone conversation. As I was skeptical of the new technology, thinking how would it be possible to hear music without the vibrations being sent directly through my ear canal, lets just say this is no longer the case. The blue tooth technology is user friendly, easy to set up and comfortable via the light and durable headset. It set up easily with my phone and tablet within a few seconds. In addition, the voice directions within the system gives prompts in setting up and also when the battery is running low. It also shares with you how much battery life is left. So unlike the many other devices I have used. On that note, it does provide 6 hours of interactive use time, just as labeled. On a negative note, the sound does not have a natural deep base, unless you choose to place the provided ear plugs in your ears. However, I believe this takes away from the products awesome unique technology, being able to hear and communicate with your surroundings. So one has to give to get on that front. I personally like being able to take in the music while hearing the sound of my feet hit the pavement and warnings from bikes, cars and others who share my surroundings. Note, the sound is still loud enough and clear....just note the bass is not unless ear plugs are used. As for comfort, I give these headphones a 10. There is absolutely no ear discomfort or entrapment of sweat, something that I hate with my other headphones. I totally forgot that they were on my head during my most recent 90 minute run. No lie! This product rocks on this front. My only minor suggestion is that it was offered in a different color selection. Mine are blue and ideally I would like either black, red or a combination of those two. Just my style I guess. Love this product and highly recommend to anyone seeking a great pair of blue tooth headphones. These are now my go to pair and will only use the others when recharging the battery which only takes less than an hour to fully recharge. Have to like that. Go with it, they are worth the price!!!!
