I like these for outdoor running. I can still hear the ambient noise that I need. I find that indoor on the treadmill though listening to tv I get too much noise and have to use something else.

These didn't fit great and had absolutely no noise canceling whatsoever. Maybe good for music but not for phone calls

I got these so I could listen to music while I run. I used to just play music on my phone's speaker so I could hear surrounding noise. Now I get much better sound and can still hear approaching cars and people while music is playing. Volume buttons are nice for fine tuning how much ambient noise vs music you hear. Sound is even better with earplugs in if you just want to hear music. Great for yardwork too.

Bought this item to be used for running and the gym. PROS: Doea not fall off when running and moving around. Can hear surrounding noise so it's safe to use when jogging in busy streets. Holds up charge well. CONS: Not ideal for the gym because of all the background noise, you can barely hear the music and if you put volume high it makes an uncomfortable vibrating sensation to the cheeks. Sound quality is not very good for the price.

Bought these headphones thinking they made sense for biking. Allowing me to listen to music while keeping my ears uncovered to allow me to hear traffic. Not only did these perform remarkably in those areas, but I was surprised that the wind noise did not interfere with the sound like it does on every other set of earbuds I have tried to bike with.

I like not having the headset hanging around my neck. The sound quality is good. I've had people complain about the quality of the noise cancellation when talking on the phone but overall I would recommend this product.

Easy to wear, and because it does not sit IN my ears, I can still hear outside noises without interference. Also works for my husband who has hearing aids! LOVE it!

I love these for airplanes, running and slower Mountain bike rides. So secure and comfortable. The wind noise created by passing cars and higher speed bike rides will drown out the music or podcast however.

Work great anytime you will be active and want a Bluetooth headset. Open ear for me is a huge advantage I can still hear things around me. Did not work as well on the mower but I could have added an ear plug to block that noise. Headband felt very secure battery life has been fine.

I don't know if I buy the hype that these are "Bone Conducting" but it is VERY nice to have a headphone that you can still hear the outside noise. Whether it is while you are exercising or in an office, being completely cut off from every noise around you isn't always what you want, and it definitely isn't safe. The sound comes from the speakers near the ear orifice, but yet when you put in ear plugs you Can still hear...so maybe there is "some" bone conduction, but not what I expected. Good product, but not exactly what it claims.

The best headset for running and the treadmill. Because of how you wear it, you do not have to worry about it falling out and it sounds great! Call quality is good also! Plus you can hear surrounding noises, to stay say while jogging!

I have been through several headsets in the past year, 4 different brands in one day. This headset fit all of the check boxes, light weight, good sound quality in noisy conditions, good voice quality as well. Takes a little while to charge but once charged lasts quite well when not in use, have not used it for 6 hours straight so not sure on that claim. But for safety when driving none better, allows ambient noises along with headset sound to both be heard.simple controls, but placement is a bit awkward. Also they are flexible but not adjustable which is my only major issue with them.

Let me preface this by stating that I use a pair of Bose Quietcomfort 35 ii for lounging and general audio needs. When purchasing this headset, my only concern was getting something wireless, sweat resistant, and loud enough to listen to music while also letting in ambient noise so that I can be aware of my surroundings. This headset checked all of those boxes and have worked perfectly for the few weeks I have been using it. Build quality is great. Light enough to not really notice while you're wearing it, and secure enough on your head to not fall off even with vigorous shaking. Comes with a USB charging cable, carrying pouch, and two earplugs to help drown out ambient noise for the times you only want to hear the music. The best way to describe using this headset would be to imagine your every day life with a sound track. I typically keep the volume around 75% while biking; I can hear the music clearly and also hear any other bikers approaching behind me. Being able to hear both music and my immediate surroundings is a very strange experience. Phonecalls sound clear, and people on the other end can hear my voice clearly even when wind is blowing against me. Minor gripes with the product would be that in a quiet room, others can hear your audio around the 60% level. I guess the $150 Trekz Titanium Air is improved in this regard. If you go up to 80% the bass can feel a bit wierd on your eardrum. Overall I'm very satisfied with this headset. I use them 90% while exercising and the few times I want to listen to music without lugging around the larger pair of headphones.

I bought these for a specific need. These are great while driving or exercising or at work when you want to listen to music and still hear what's going on around you. They Bluetooth to your phone and answering calls is easy. The sound could use improvement. That would be my only complaint, but it's good overall. These do not work in a noisy environment because they are basically a open back style of headphone. They are also a bit pricey but are very durable and work well.

Bought these so I could ride my bike and hear surroundings while listening to music. Best for moderate speeds as wind noise drowns out music at faster pace. Sound quality is okay and it's nice that it can be switched to optimize sound with or without ear plugs. Also nice that the phone can be answered with a simple push of a button on the side. Phone call sound quality is very good. I gave these 5 stars because compared to other head phones that block out noise, I feel much safer when on the road as I can hear cars coming up behind me. Biking was the main reason I bought these but I have also found these ideal for kayaking and running as well. I am very happy with my purchase.

Read many reviews prior to purchasing these bone conducting headphones. The reviews convinced me to try these. I am very satisfied with them. I used them for radio, podcasts and music. Also use them when riding my bicycle and they work great. Biggest problem on a bike is wind noise and having hearing open for cars etc. These solve both those areas. I recommend these.

1st point, these use bone conduction instead of audio like traditional headphones. Sound quality is different, but different doesn't mean poor. Sound quality is good, but lacks the high quality of good headphones. However, these are great for podcasts and music. Simply understand your audio experience will be good enough for almost all your needs. They probably sound better than your crappy apple buds or those other buds you have. Unlike buds they will not drown out outside noise and are not good for loud environments unless you're wearing earplugs. I can wear them on a plane, but the engine noise will drown them out with me wearing earplugs. Being able to hear one's surroundings is a clear advantage in many situations.

These headphones aren't designed to replace Beats or Airpods. These headphones are designed to allow the wearer to hear his/her surroundings while listening to audio content. They are plenty loud for listening to music on the average crowded street or gym, but they are pretty useless on an airplane or loud crowd. I use these as my primary headphones because I usually only wear headphones when I am at the gym. I took them to Washington DC on a business trip and they were fantastic for listening to my Google Map directions while walking the city. I would talk to people and respond to traffic without adjusting the volume of my music. One thing customers should know is that these aren't silent. You can hear audio when the headphones are less than a foot in proximity from your ears. I haven't had any problems with them and I have had them for approximately four months.

I work outside in the elements during all seasons and down a dirt road, I'm out in the wind- which blows dust most every day, there is irrigation sprinklers running water constantly in the summer and I'm either driving or near noisy farm machines. For many years while at work I have struggled to hear my phone ring; never mind be able to hear my customers speak while I'm in the field. On a whim went to into Best Buy; explained my situation to a couple of helpful sales folks, and with their recommendation- I chose Aftershockz Trekz titanium bone in headset. FANTASTIC! I can hear the phone, speak with ease, hands free so I can write a order or continue working while talking with customers, and my customers can hear me without shouting over all the background noise. Because the ear set rests on my temple not in my ear I'm still able to hear what is going on around me- much more safe and convenient. With AfterShockz there are no wires to get caught up, just a very light weight frame that slides around the back of my neck- and under my hair it is not visible. I can wear a baseball hat with no issue. The sound quality is superb, sound resonates into my head- there is volume conrtrol so it doesn't blare. Better than any ear bud I have ever tried. @@@@@@@@ After a few wears) they are so comfortable I forget that I'm wearing them. It did take me a few days to get used to the pressure of the speakers resting over my glasses, and if I'm wearing a hoodie or beanie it pushes the set around a little - easy to adjust though. They aren't comfortable to wear at night music listening while lying down. First world whining- Minor inconveniences. AfterShockz Titanium are the best product for comfort and efficiency that I have tried. I'm going to get the new model this summer as I understand the ear wrap is even more comfortable. After years of searching, this was the best $100 I ever spent! I highly recommend them for folks that work and play outside. A word in praise of Best Buy staff- very helpful, attentive, really listened to, as well as responded to my needs. Excellent customer service.

I bought these bluetooth headphones to replace the bluetooth earbuds that I have been using for years. I like these Trekz Titanium headphones for biking as they don't cover your ears and you are able to hear all noises around you. . like traffic. I have used them on road bike as well as trail bike. The only negative is that on windy days and at certain speed on road bike, you won't hear any music for a brief period. I dont crank volume load to begin with so it is understandable to have these situations. The titanium band does kind of ride up back of head when laid out on road bike but never has interfered with function of headphones and after awhile you get used to that. No issues what soever on the trail bicycle. My main concern is safety and these allow me to hear approaching traffic. Get them on sale for a good buy, just like all eletronics, don't pay full retail price!
