The ability to actually clean our pool has dropped off significantly. It has been an overall disappointment. The battery does not last more than 30 minutes maximum. A far cry from the 150 minutes advertised. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a quality cordless cleaner.

To further make sure what caused it no charging, please do the troubleshooting steps below: 1. To avoid affecting the machine's working battery life and product experience. Please make sure that the machine is fully charged before using the machine (the blue light on the power indicator on the machine end is always on for full power). 2. The normal attenuation of the machine's lithium battery capacity. The longer the machine is used, the lower the battery capacity, resulting in a reduction in battery life. This is a normal phenomenon. Please confirm the actual battery life of the device. It is normal to differ within ±10 minutes within the standard battery life. If the actual working battery life of the machine is much lower than the standard battery life of the machine (it can only work for 40–50 minutes), it is a machine failure.3. If the pool has a complex structure, relatively smooth material, and is too dirty, the machine will increase the motor power to achieve a normal cleaning effect during its working, and resulting in a reduction in battery life. It does clean but it also does not holds a charge and our pool stays partially cleaned. Tried echo mode but it can’t maintain the charge allowing it to periodically clean over a broad timespan. It also dies mid-cycle and does not move to the wall to ‘dock’. This has created a few interesting retrievals when it has died in the middle of the deep end. This does not do what it claims to do. I recommend choosing another.

The idea is great, but the aspect of it vacuuming and then spitting it back into the pool was not. Really sad about this.

After just over a year of owning it, it has stopped working. Wont power on. Spending that much on a sweep for it to die just after 1 year is unacceptable. I would not recommend this product. Stick with a pool seeep with booster pump because these wont last long and youll waste your money.

Mine has inclines all around a deep end and this thing would just do wheelies and turn back around. The deep end got clean but nothing else. I suspect it does not have enough suction to handle any incline.

If the distance between the steps is less than the length of the fuselage and the total inclination angle is below 45 degrees, it can easily climb up. And if the platform of the step is wide enough to accommodate the machine, the steps can even be cleaned. It will try three times over a short period when turned on and if it doesn’t feel water it shuts off. Well we had no issues turning it on and in less than 3 seconds it was in the qater and did well. A month later it just shuts off. Soon as it hits the water the blue light stays on till it gwts to the bottom of the pool then in about 15 seconds it just shuts off. Tried for days nothing. I have no time to call and waste with customer service so I returned it. Turns out a few YouTube videos and patience I could fix my polaris. Then took it to leslie pool for free evaluation and minor fixes it's uo and running. I won’t be bothered with this aiper nonsense anymore

Crash and Burn - Utter Failure of a Product

Gets stuck in deep end of pool every time. Even the area of deep end that gets all the attention is neglected. Vacuum simply stirs up leaves and dirt - very little collects in basket. It’s serves fantastic as a brush - stirs everything up - but the vacuum does not even come close to meeting the mark. I rarely write reviews and even more rarely do I actually recommend against a product - but this is the exception to that rule. Aiper should not have launched this product - and Best Buy should highly consider changing the makes and models of pool vacuums they currently offer.

Quit working after 2 months

It worked fine for 2 months, then quit working. Best Buy Total Tech had us contact Aiper for repair. Aiper first said to mail the unit & they would send a replacement. Now they are delaying the process, while we have nothing to clean our pool. Would not recommend.

Literally Picked Up A Single Leaf In 2hrs

Then picks up 1-5 leaves after running for over an hour. Ive been running it twice a day for a week and our pool still looks the same (a bunch of leaves on the floor).
