I picked up the Aiper Scuba N1 Pro at the recommendation of a friend. I've been using the traditional pump powered "pool vac" for years and thought I'd give the new technology a shot. After unboxing and thoroughly checking it out, I'm impressed. Very well built. It uses roller "brushes" with flexible flaps to scrub the pool and send what it finds through a fine mesh filter basket as well as a separate filter that catches even more. My first test was to start on a clean pool. No visible dirt or debris. I ran the Scuba on Auto mode which cleans as long as possible until the battery runs out. It does both walls and floor. After the battery is done, a red light turns on and it parks by a wall for easy retrieval. When I checked the filter basket and filter media I was very surprised to see a large amount of sand and other small debris my traditional pool vac would NEVER pick up. Next I tried ECO mode, which has the ability to clean every 48 hours for a full week. Super impressed that it actually worked! Same result. Basket was not overly full but this was a clean pool to start with. It picked up sand and fines like nothing I've ever seen. After a rinse, charging was fairly quick and it was ready to hop back in the water. Lastly I tried water line mode which did a darn good job of scrubbing my tile at the waterline. Shocking actually. This thing hasn't missed. My pool is fairly large and it had no trouble with the size. My opinion: Great option for anyone who wants a sparkling clean pool floor. Picks up sand and dirt that nothing else will. I have a pebble tech but it would be great for a concrete pool floor also. Easy to set up and operate. Packaged well and really does seem to have the look and feel of a high end product. I don't see any parts that feel like they are low quality. It comes with replacements on all the wear parts... which I don't see wearing out anytime soon. After a few weeks it still looks brand new. Cons: The only con I see at this point is the retrieval and charging of the Scuba. They provide a hook that easily attaches to your pool net pole. Only reason it is a con is having to do it at all. Now personally, not a deal breaker. We charge so many items these days it doesn't seem any different and once a week isn't bad at all. Trade off on the extra effort is an absolutely cleaner pool (and a cool new toy... I mean necessity for your pool)... Lastly, I'll speak to the Aiper App. Pretty slick and easy to use. You can change cleaning modes (out of water) and monitor your cleaning records. It also keeps track of your roller and filter life. Plus plus. Starting off skeptical, I am now a big fan. Highly recommended!

Best pool cleaner on the market

I purchased the N1 pro about a week ago and i have been nothing but impressed with the product. The app is super easy to use and the longevity of the battery went beyond the 180 minutes listed in the product spec sheet. I bought, and returned, some other brands on amazon that claimed certain capabilities. I noticed the aiper on sale at Beat Buy and after reading some reviews i thought i would give it a try. I like the fact it comes with extra filters and pads so i dont have to buy anything in the near future. The scrubbing n the pool walls is what impresses me the most. I have recommended this prodict to all my friends that have a pool.

Aiper Scuba N1 Pro. Great cleaner This pool cleaner is hands down the best I’ve used. It climbs the walls and even handles the steps with ease, cleaning every inch of the pool. It’s a major upgrade from my hosed pool cleaner—no more swimming into hoses or limited reach. The Scuba N1 Pro is powerful, efficient, and makes pool maintenance practically effortless. Honestly, this cleaner might just put my pool guy out of a job. Highly recommend for anyone looking to simplify their pool care routine.

Comparing Aiper N1 Pro vs Dolphin M400

I would actually rate the Aiper Very Good when comparing to my Dolphin M400. The Aiper is much easier to handle and cleaning the debris basket was quicker. Being cordless, the Aiper didn't leave my pool deck cluttered as the corded M400 does. A couple of reasons why I didn't rate Aiper Excellent are - 1) Maneuvering around my kidney shaped pool seems awkward for the Aiper when it encountered rounded corners and steps/landings. It gets stuck in those area's for a time. 2) Aiper picks up larger debris but appears to miss finer particles that the M400 collects as seen in the pictures. Overall, I like the Aiper and want a longer time to compare it's durability against the Dolphin M400 that I have had for 4 years.

The Aiper Scuba N1 Pro is an impressive pool cleaner that delivers exceptional performance and convenience. Its powerful suction and intelligent navigation system ensure thorough cleaning of my pool, including walls and waterline. The device is user-friendly and easy to setup. It climbs my pool walls better than any pool cleaner I've had and the horizontal waterline cleaning feature is super cool. Overall, the Aiper Scuba N1 Pro offers excellent value for money, making it a must-have for any pool owner looking to maintain a pristine swimming environment with minimal effort.

We bought the Scuba N1 Pro to replace our old, broken, corded pool cleaner. Did not want to continue to replace hoses and pumps on the old one. The N1 Pro works great! It can clean our whole pool, sides and floor, in a single charge. No problem with the curves in the pool or going up the sloping walls. With the small filter, we are amazed at how much fine dirt is captured. Super handy that it will come back to a wall when it's done so we can fish it out with the hook. Our kids have always called our pool cleaner "Yoda" and love to watch the new "Yoda" do its job. Highly recommend!

My pool was in really bad shape after my previous pool vacuum stopped working. The Aiper went right to work after I charged it and dropped it into the pool. I am impressed by the amount of dirt and debris that it can collect and cleaning above the waterline is a game changer. Plus I no longer have to worry about the chord getting tangled.

Got tired of scrubbing my pool walls daily. There is no shade covering my pool, so green algae collects daily in the summer heat. I ordered this cleaner because it climbs and "scrubs" the walls. My current pool cleaner is a hose cleaner and runs off of the pump, but doesn't clean the walls. After receiving, it was packaged very well and looked premium and "futuristic". It was plug and play and fully charged when I got it, so I put it to work immediately. WOW! This cleaner not only cleaned my walls but it also had no problems cleaning my steps and ledges too. Definitely happy with this purchase!

This a total miss. It's supposed to be better than the N1 but it is not. It's too heavy for a lot of people to lift and the extra weight depletes the battery more quickly than the N1, which is about half the cost. Don't believe Aiper when they tell you it's better--I asked them before ordering--it is not. I have gone back to using an N1 instead, which gets five stars from me. This unit also had lid-fit problems that the less expensive unit doesn't have. The photo is of the N1 Pro packed up and ready to be returned.

Got this pool cleaner because I've heard that Aiper puts out a good product that is stress-free. So far, I have to agree with that. It shipped within 2 days, which was great! Easy to unbox and get ready for use. It came with some charge, so I put it straight into the pool. It does a great job with easy clean up afterwards. I would recommend.

    Firmware update killed the product

Worked perfectly for about 3 months (the warranty period) then Aiper promptly released a 'firmware update' and literally lobotomized the product. It used to be perfect, methodical and efficient ( I was telling everyone how great it was), now the failure behaviors are too numerous to name. It just bumbles around the pool haphazardly (when it is supposed to be in N-mode), partially cleaning about half the floor and just blows the debris around without cleaning it.... SO frustrating. I've sent Aiper videos and documented the problem(s) Aiper has made some attempts to address the issue(s) (including sending me an entirely new machine) but (since it is a firmware problem and not a mechanical problem) the result was exactly the same. Do not buy Aiper.... EVER. This is $1000 of electronic waste.

    Great pool cleaner!

This pool cleaner was ready to go right out of the box. I charged it, set it to auto mode, and let it do its thing. It cleaned my entire pool, including the walls, without any issues. What impressed me most was how it handled areas that used to trip up my old cleaner. It went right over the main drain in the deep end without getting stuck, and even handled the stairs like a pro. It stopped, turned around, and continued its cleaning cycle without missing a beat. As a homeowner who maintains my own pool, this cleaner has been a game changer. I no longer have to manually clean the pool. It does the job for me while I focus on other things. Total time-saver. Overall, it’s a fantastic cleaner and a serious upgrade. Highly recommend!

Overall, this vacuum does a good job cleaning, climbing walls, and generally picking up small debris. The biggest problem with the unit is the software, which honestly is atrocious. Sometimes the unit cleans well, and sometimes it will vacuum the same 3 foot strip for hours at a time. I returned the first unit because of this problem and the second unit does the exact same thing. The support technicians don’t seem to have a clue. If there was a software update so the unit actually understood what it was doing, I would give it a better rating. This should not be difficult considering how well so many robotic vacuum cleaners can map and clean your house. The pool is actually much simpler than that. Also know that the unit is very heavy before you buy it. I would think some people would have a difficult time lifting it out of the pool.

This vacuum worked a lot better than a previous one I bought. For the money you pay, this one gets the job done. It doesn’t get the corners of the pool well but it does suck up a lot of dirt and makes my pool look cleaner forsure. The battery life also isn’t bad, lasts about 1.5/2 hours

The Best Pool Cleaner We’ve Ever Had!

I bought the Aiper Scuba N1 Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner for my parents, and they absolutely love it! We’ve gone through several pool vacuums in the past, including cordless ones, but they always seemed to break or fall short of expectations. This time, I wanted to get them something reliable so they wouldn’t have to use so much of their time manually vacuuming the pool. The Scuba N1 Pro has been a total game-changer for them. Its cleaning performance is outstanding, effortlessly handling the floor, walls, and even the waterline. It picks up even the tiniest debris, leaving the pool looking crystal clear. The convenience is unmatched. It’s cordless, easy to use, and has five cleaning modes to fit different needs. The Eco Mode is a favorite since it helps maintain the pool throughout the week with minimal effort. With up to 180 minutes of cleaning on a full charge, it’s perfect for their large pool. Highly recommend it!

Just got this and started using it today. Buyer beware: this cannot connect to WiFi once it is in the water. The owner’s manual references something called the “HydroComm”. When I asked customer service about this, they didnt know what I was talking about, despite it being on Page 11 of the manual. I then called in and they said they don’t sell it. Can’t find it on Amazon or Best Buy. I have only had it for two hours and it keeps cleaning the same spot over and over. Had to take it off of Auto mode just to get it to clean the pool floor. Had to pull it out of the water since it cannot connect to WiFi while in the pool. I called customer service again and they said their technical department was “gone for the day”, despite it being 1230 CDT. Already frustrated. Nearly $1000 after taxes.

Thank you for your feedback. So sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. In our original concept, the “HydroComm” should be achieved. However, due to the wrong estimation of the development process, we were unable to break through this technical barrier currently. In the future, the goal is expected to be achieved through our continuous development. AIPER

Got this for Father’s Day because my dad complains about his current cleaner that has a cord. He was so excited and put it in that day! It climbs the walls and steps so well. He loves that it makes its own map too so he can do different types of cleans (only floor, only walls, etc). Highly recommend for your pool and also a great gift!
