It doesn’t matter If you are a tech geek who wants to be in charge of exactly how the robot works in your pool, or just want simple (turn it on, put it in the water and take it out several hours later) excellent, completely thorough cleaning of your entire pool, the Aiper Scuba X1Pro Max CORDLESS robotic pool cleaner is for you.
I’ve had a few corded units over the life of our pool. While they did a good job, I found myself annoyed with the tangled cord every time I had to clean the filter or just remove cleaner from the pool after use. Many times, I’ve had to disconnect the cord from the power supply and extend it the full length to unwrap tangles and let the sun help make the cable flexible enough to fully extend the units ability to clean the entire pool. Not to mention I tended to use the cleaner less because of this. Not to mention the look of that tangled cable sitting on the water’s surface was so ugly!
This cordless Aiper model takes cable annoyances out of the picture completely. I simply take the unit from the dock/caddy charger, turn it on, set one of the several types of cleaning modes, put it in the water, and take it out when I feel like it. Depending on the mode used, you might just grab the robot when it approaches the surface near edge of pool, or if you missed the end of cycle, grab it with the included hook to get it to the side, lift it (note the unit is a bit of a load, especially when full of water, but is well balanced and drains quickly) let it drain and put back on caddy/charger to be ready for next cleaning.
This simplicity allows me to remove the unit after each cleaning, put it in caddy/charger away from the pool area to keep it out of the pool fun area, out of the sun and out of the way!
The unit is extremely well built and designed. From opening the very sturdy packaged box, reading the well written and illustrated instructions and putting charger stand together (note the wheeled caddy/charger is a separate item you must purchase unless Aiper has a deal going).
A couple final notes:
the charger is very efficient, unit if fully charged and ready for next cleaning after a couple hours. Fully charged unit is way more than enough to run thru all cleaning modes/cycles.
The debris basket is very large, I cannot imagine it getting full after a single normal cleaning cycle, but is large enough in case you do have lots of tree leaves in your pool in the fall.
I've included several pictures for reference, including one of my previous corded unit and cable mess....
Bottom line, buy the Aiper Scuba X1Pro Max CORDLESS robotic pool cleaner

Very easy to use overall. Efficient at all depths cleaning we have a shallow 4 foot end going to 10 feet diving depth. only negative is that the filter locks are very difficult to remove.
