Airbnb gift card credit CANNOT be used to extend an existing Airbnb stay, even if you initially pay for the entire stay with gift credit. Instead of using your existing credit or giving you the option to choose your payment method, your default credit card is automatically charged if you do an extension. This idiotic policy seems to be a blatant money grab by Airbnb.

I ordered this card to reserve an Airbnb over 24 hours later I still don't have my card. Oh, and BB took my money and paid for it. Ridiculous|!!!!!!!

The GC Code took days to arrive. Lots of phone calls only wasted my time. Best Buy takes no responsibility for this transaction and leaves you out to dry. It did eventually come but was super frustrating with lots of broken promises from BB. Also, AirBNB charges very high fees. Always better to look for a substitute.

The GC itslef is good. But we had to cancel our Airbnb because of a snow storm and neither Airbnb nor the host would honor the cancellation even though the national weather service warning said dont travel.

Be mindful before you purchase. Best Buy is agreeing a $30 gift card when you purchase an Airbnb card. You’d assume that if you purchase $500 that you would get double the offer, that is not the case -you only get $30 per purchase. Also, it was difficult to use at Airbnb.
