Broken while in warranty but can't get repaired.

Manufacturer is MIA (website removed and no answer at phone number) and BestBuy won't do a manufacturer authorized repair or even a diagnostic.

I returned it because it did not cool my living area at all, over the weekend when it was 100°+. It would just circulate the hotness inside. DON'T BUY THIS AC!!!! Fan and the shaft exploded more or less after a noisy off and of banging. Shut it off and it's be down for almost two weeks now.. BESTBUY so far has been MIA in getting this issue resolved. There is NO AIREMAX Company....No website, no customer service and no way to get it either repaired or replaced for a number of reasons. It's a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, those favorable reviews will evaporate as the unit's are put through their paces. You will be out $400 and have no recourse thru BESTBUY OR A PITCH TO GET GEEK SQUAD protection ?
