Never dropped, no damage, It worked for about a week. Now it won't record longer than 9 seconds before it shuts itself off. Returning it to the store today.

This great little camera comes with touch screen. Very easy to use and takes really nice underwater photos and videos.

Worst cam I ever purchased. From have start I couldn't offload video or pictures from the app to my phone. I had to do it the old fashioned way by removing the memory card - if I tried to just plug it in to my PC it wouldn't read. Half the time I had to download the video files as .LRV -not . MP4 What's an .LRV file? Low resolution video! That's right. My 4k 60fps genius here couldn't handle the shooting which was far from insane outdoor commercial-like terrain. I never got the thing wet and used it mostly for content creation and other projects... When it worked. I couldn't even upload a photo to the app for a contest and still can't fully utilize the app. Akaso thinks it's my phone. I have a Google PIXEL 6 PRO and a 6a I've tried it on as well as my husband's iphone 12 PRO and no luck. Everyone in the Facebook community kept telling me it's the camera, you have a warranty, talk to them because that's not right. So I talk to support - a month long process of be trying every protocol in the book including completely deleting/uninstalling the entire system and installing new commands and still nothing but I prob made it worse. Finally I told them that I have a warranty, can we just get this looked at, do a trade or whatever. I'm not looking for something free here, just want a functioning camera. Btw, prior to this I was using a GoPro 7 White and am still using it since this one's now being shipped to the headquarters up north. They say if they find something wrong they'll ship me a new cam even trade. I think that's fair of them. I hate to see what happens if they don't find something wrong but I'm staying positive. That camera was an impulse buy in the first place to cheaply satiate my hunger for a newer GoPro. If you use this cam or others by Akaso please know I'm not trying to disrespect the brand here. I've seen what these can do thanks to the Facebook group and I know there's always a few bad apples in a bunch. I will say they have decent customer service. However, they have a horrible app!
