Just got for my birthday and it broke as soon as I wheeled it in. A single wheel.

Bad quality. The left arm rest started peeling off after first 2 months of use. I don't even rest my arm on the left side.

Good quality chair and comfortable for me (5’6-160lbs). Material is ok(typical office chair fabric). Wanted cloth because last chair was cheap PU leather that started peeling after 3 years. The picture makes it look like some fancy suede. Also, the chair base is not metal like the picture indicates but plastic. Wish the chair height was a little higher. Good adjustments. Like that I can recline flat. Easy to assemble. Only time will tell if it will last but I like it so far. Was worth it for the sale price ($280) for me as it is a lot better than your typical gaming chair.

Quality gaming chair, had it for 3 years so far and only a couple things are noticeable. The arm rest jiggle but that’s due to the time and adjustment they allow and getting loose. Then one of the arm rests cover split open but I tend to lean on that throughout the day. Over all really good chair if you’re looking for something comfy.

I purchased this for my son's 12th birthday. It was super easy to assemble (tools already included), and crazy adjustable. It also has a 5-point base, which greatly increases stability and allowing it to fully recline without tipping backward. My only complaints are (a) the head cushion and (b) the chair width. (a) The head cushion is just a pillow with an elastic strap that stretches over the top of the chair. The problem is, the elastic strap only stretches so far, so you can't get the pillow low enough for a pre-teen's head. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but still a drawback. (b) The chair width is fine for my 12-year-old son who is 5ft and around 80-100 lbs. I can "fit" in it, but the stiffer raised sides begin to get uncomfortable after a few minutes. I'm 6ft & 230lbs. So, this chair wasn't made for people my size.

Incredible! This is top of the line quality. The material has held up perfectly, the adjustable arm rests are convenient, the incline/decline ability is also incredibly clutch to have. Will definitely stick to AKRacing products in the future!

I have had this chair for nearly a month and I really enjoy it. My last chair had no back support what-so-ever leading to slight lower back pain. I haven't had that problem with this chair. The arms are adjustable for height, angle, forward, backward, and you can adjust the width with tools. Assembly was fairly easy. The only thing that surprised me was when i picked up the box, it was heavier than i thought it would be. not a whole ton of plastic on this thing which is nice. the base is made of metal along with the chair frame so i am sure this chair will last a long time with vigorous use. The reclining feature is nice, but i dont often use it unless I am watching YouTube or a movie.

I bought this to replace a very old and worn down chair now that I've been working for home for some time. I sit for 10+ hours a day, so I was looking for something that would allow for endurance sessions of work. I landed on gaming chairs since they were built for long term use and had the right level of back and neck support. This chair fit the bill and had a good price point. It was very easy to put together. It looks nice and so far, after a month of heavy use, it's holding up well and continues to be very comfortable. Only possible negative is the look as it doesn't necessarily fit in with any office setting. As a car person, I like the way it looks, but I'm sure not everyone will.

Now that I am working from home everyday my old chair started showing it's bad side. My right leg and the butt where really sore after a full day on it. I did a little research and all recommendations pointed to a gaming char. Everything I was finding online was backordered for at least 1 1/2 months. I found this one here at a near by store. Ordered and picked it up the same day. My daughter helped me put it together. The chair is easy to assemble. No noise. Very comfortable. The 180 degree recline feels weird at first but it does work well. I've not tipped off yet. Best of all: my leg doesn't hurt anymore (still sore, though). Highly recommended.

The chair is comfortable, sturdy, good quality, good back support. It is quite a big chair and a bit pricey, but I guess this is kinda standard for gaming chairs. My son said it's very comfortable. Thumbs up!

Brought this for me and my son during the pandemic. I tell you.. ive never had a chair as comfortable as this here. I even try ro bring it into the office. Their said i needed a doctors note lol

This is my first foray into gaming chairs having always used office chairs. I do have a bad disc in my back and nerve issues in a leg. The chair is NOT difficult to assemble with some basic assembly experience. Seems like just about every option on the chair was customizable. I noticed an immediate difference in my back soreness and leg numbness after changing over to this chair. The different supports make this chair a GIGANTIC upgrade over any office chair. HIGHLY recommended.

This product is really good. I’m a big guy that wanted a chair to comfortably game or do some work on a desk for extended periods of time. The chair is really strong and sturdy. It can recline to what feels like 180 degrees and it can hold my weight. The chair is quality and took me about 30-45 mins to assemble and the only tools needed come with the chair. Chair is easy to use as well. The price tag is a little pricey but the quality is there and is comfortable as well.

I have been a home based worker for over 6 years and wore out my office chair. I am not a small man so I need one that can hold me day after day. For work setting it with the back near straight makes for a good posture to type and take calls for a 10 hour day. I can recline a bit after work and be ready for a night of gaming. The only drawback is if you like to put a leg under your other leg. The seat is bolstered on the front edge so that position will not work well. The pillows move a bit to help support the back and neck as needed

I've had this chair for almost a whole year, and I can honestly say it is a great chair for the price I paid. The materials are sturdy and nothing has loosened or broken off over the last 8 months. I spend about 4-8 hours a week in this chair and it's still as comfortable and supportive as when I first assembled it. The accompanying lumbar and head pillows are also a great addition in case you feel like reclining or even taking a nap (which I unashamedly have done before). Assembly is incredibly easy and should not take more than 20-25 minutes from unboxing to full assembly. The only real gripe I have with this chair are the arms. For $400 I would've expected arms that have multilevel height adjustment functionality - instead they just slide either all the way down, or all the way up with no middle setting in between the two. I also would've expected the arms to have a slide-in/out mechanism so I can have them closer or farther from my body, but it looks like the only way I can achieve this is by flipping the chair over and redoing the nuts and bolts that hold them in place since there seems to be a hole allowing for closer positioning. Overall, if you're looking for a "budget" gaming chair that's comfortable, reliable, and sleek looking, this chair should definitely be considered, especially if it's ever on sale.

Like most of you, I've been doing a lot more work from home since this quarantine started. I was previously using an IKEA reclining chair for normal computer work and gaming for several hours per day, it was insanely uncomfortable and caused my back to hurt after awhile. I was searching online for different gaming chairs that were affordable and good quality. It's a little more difficult purchasing a chair without seeing or trying it at the store. Based off the reviews, I figured I would try it out. In total, it took about 15 - 20 mins to assemble. Very easy with the manual and allen wrenches provided. After having the chair for a few days, my spine is thanking me! The lumbar pillow is a great addition. Very comfortable for several hour gaming sessions. Good materials and wheels roll around effortlessly. The adjustable arm rests are nice, too. I am 5'10 and 155lbs. Chair is sturdy with room to grow into. Definitely recommend this chair! If you have pets, prepare for dog / cat hair to get stuck in the fibers of the chair lol.

Did tons of cross-shopping before purchasing this. I mainly looked at TechniSport and Secret Labs. I have now owned this chair for 5 months and it's been great. I am 5'10 215lbs with a medium to large build. The chair is very adjustable (back tilt, height, arm rest can adjust in many ways) The padding is more on the medium firm side but if you're a long session gamer such as myself, you'll appreciate the firmness as it provides good support. If you are bigger than me, I would sit on a display model first before buying. The side bolsters could dig into your thighs. If i had bigger legs, I could see this being a comfort issue. I use the chair every day for at least 4 hours and it hasn't shown any wear and tear. The build quality is top notch. I often lay my head on the pillow and after 5 months, the pillows have not lost their integrity. I prefer the fabric, as leather tends to leave my butt sweaty after long sitting sessions. The assembly instructions are kind of vague but if you've played with Legos as a child, it shouldn't be of any real challenge to assemble. The box is pretty heavy, so i recommend getting help with moving it.

Very comfortable chair, easy to assemble. The AKRacing EX Gaming Chair is comparable to a higher end chair for half the price. It is a solid chair, doesn't feel cheap. It is able to hold bigger guys like me, I've had this chair for a week now and it is great. Just as good as the SecretLabs chair my daughter received not long ago.

The AKRacing Core EX is a great PC gaming chair. It’s a solid chair that hugs you with cushion. The adjustments you can make with it are fantastic. Being 5’8” 188lbs with a bad back, I enjoy the lumbar and neck pillow. Takes about 15 minutes to put together by yourself and everything fits nicely. If you’re using this at a computer desk for gaming it’s going to be a little more adjustable than a regular desk chair. Little things like getting your arms perfectly level with the desk and having the armrest to pivot your mouse arm on. That’s something you really want with a game chair and this one can do that. Not rocking back and forth when you put your Logitech G920 Racing wheel in front of you. That’s something you really want in a game chair. This chair can give you that without sacrificing comfort. Heck, you could even remove the base and mount this to a Racing sim frame perfectly. It’s not real big and it looks and feels of quality. I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality budget/not outrageously priced gaming chair.
