Pretty good and durable. The only thing I don’t like about is that it is not a leather chair so your hair and dust can be easily stick on the chair.

Got my husband for our Anniversary and he loves it. He is working from home and loves gaming so it was a perfect fit. It’s very comfortable, love the fabric (very breathable and doesn’t make noise when he moves around like the other leather feeling ones) and overall very long for him.

Comfortable and Solid, not Pet Friendly

The chair is very comfortable for long stints at my desk and seems quite well built/destined to last. However, the fabric is not the best for a home with pets. It tends to collect and really hold onto pet hair, so new papers to spend time vacuuming/picking our pet hair from the seat is you have any furry friends in the house.

Most expensive chair I’ve ever purchased and by far my favorite! Only quarrel is that the recline is non existent for when I want to prop my feet up, it will force you forward. Other than that it’s a very good, comfortable chair.

Let me start by saying this chair is awesome, it’s built very strong and the hardware is top notch. This chair saved me after a motorcycle accident I fractured quite a few bones but I had two fractures in my pelvis that made it very difficult to walk and this chair saved me and I also broke my shoulder blade and with the multi positioning arm rests it made it so easy to find a good position to rest my arm on without my back acting up… not only is this chair great for gaming but it really saved me with my injuries.

Being a bigger guy (6’1” 275lb) I thought this chair wouldn’t hold up to my size. I was wrong. This chair, even after multiple hours of gaming remains comfortable. I’ve already recommended it to friends.

Super comfortable, I weigh about 160 and it supports my back perfectly. Previous chairs caused pain near my tailbone but not this one. My only complaint would be the head rest isn’t exactly comfortable. It doesn’t support the way it should. However, the rest of the chair is very comfortable and recommended.

I am working from home full time now and my cheap chair I bought on Amazon was worn out. I decided to spend a bit more money this time and I am glad I did. The recline function is great for laying back while taking breaks and this chair is great for my bad back. Highly recommend!

After owning this chair, I will never go back to regular desk chairs ever again. This revolutionized my time on my computer. It's extremely comfortable and has so many options for adjustments. Anyone that spends a lot of time at a desk, on a computer, must get this chair.

This is my first gaming chair and the only reason I started looking at one was because my boyfriend had one and after sitting in it, I figured it wouldn't hurt to also have one given how much I'm at my desktop PC. Anyways, after some research, I settled on the AKRacing Core Series EX Gaming Chair primarily because it was reasonably priced ($399.00 but price-match to $285.00) and it was actually in stock at one of my local Best Buy stores! I honestly would have preferred something other than black but it's still good nonetheless! Assembly took about 30 minutes (manual w/out power tools) and the instructions were clear. So far, in comparing my gaming chair w/that of my original computer chair (office geared), I'd say the gaming chair is more "comfy" and the bolstering it has definitely helps!

Not For Me -- Caused Severe Back Pain

I really wanted to love this chair. I did a lot of research and even measured myself to make sure the chair would work for my height and ergonomic needs. I'm six feet tall and slim. I work remotely and do a good amount of FPS mouse-and-keyboard gaming (Overwatch), so I can easily spend 8-plus hours a day in my chair, even with breaks. Within two days, this chair left me in back pain so severe I couldn't sleep, pick up my seven-year-old niece or even lie down on the floor. I'm a rock climber and have been using a wooden bench as my computer chair for years without much issue, so I'm not exactly fragile. This chair simply wasn't designed for me. Here's what I think made it such a bad fit. First, the seat angles down slightly from front to back, which is not a good position for me to root my posture. For good seated posture, your hips should be slightly higher than your knees. This was borderline impossible in this chair, even if I sat towards the front of the seat cushion. Second, the lumbar pillow sticks out way too far. I couldn't use the lumbar pillow and sit back in the chair. When I took the lumber pillow off, I ended up crumpled into the chair like a donut. From now on I'll be looking at chairs with adjustable lumbar support. Third, The seat back adjustment doesn't let you put it straight up. Once you tilt the chair beyond leaning slightly back, the tilt mechanism will not catch and the chair back continues to lean forward. The neck pillow is attached by a really silly plastic mechanism which comes out easily, and it didn't do much for me anyway (I should have known as neck pillows almost never add comfort or support for me anyway). Long story short, my back was working overtime to support my body in this chair, and it seized up terribly within a short period of time. Some other, more minor issues that I didn't find in the reviews I read: 1. The armrests aren't truly 4D. You can tilt them horizontally at an angle but you can't truly take them in and out left-to-right. I'm on the slimmer side and I wasn't able to pull the armrests in enough to support my arms down at my sides, which is better for aiming in FPS games and better for my shoulders. 2. The upholstery is scratchy. My skin isn't exactly sensitive but I couldn't even wear a thin shirt and sit in this chair without the fabric bothering me. The logos stitched into the pillows were particularly bothersome. 3. The plastic piece that encases the chair tilt lever doesn't stay mounted properly. Not a huge issue but not ideal either. It's possible that this chair was just designed for people who are both tall and have bigger builds ,or people who prefer to slouch into a chair. I can tell you it certainly does not work for my body type or seated posture needs. I will be returning it to Best Buy this week. A few things this chair does well: * It elevates to a pretty good height (but its specs top out at 6'3" so definitely go for something else if you have long legs) * The cylinder is good and sturdy, holds me well. * It's quiet -- not wobbly or creaky at all * The armrests were comfortable for me over longer periods of use. The height adjustments allowed for my long arms * The seat cushion, besides the scratchy upholstery, was a good firmness and the bucket seats felt comfy to me (might crowd a bigger body though) * The build quality is fine. My only issue is that there was no protective stitching around the screw holes, so if you need to take it apart and reassemble it multiple times (e.g., if you move homes a lot), that could impact the upholstery over time. My ultimate advice to you would be not to let the aesthetics or brand appeal of a "racing chair" overtake what you and your body really need. It's worth spending a little more money or letting go of a certain look to get something that really works for you.

My son loves gaming and wanted to get this chair but was not able to afford it with his earnings. So I gave it to him on his birthday. He was so excited to see it. I am happy that he loves his chair. And he made me sit on it. It really is very comfortable.

This is a very comfortable chair for gaming, work or studying. It has a both a removable headrest and lumbar pillow. You can adujust the height and angle of the armrests and the chair. Easy to assemble. All the tools are included. I highly recommend this product.
