I love the chair, it's very comfortable and seems well made. When I got mine one of the armrest levers from adjust the height was broken. I emailed the company and they said they would send a new one. After multiple months of emails with them, I got the replacement. 5 months after I originally emailed them. Still a great product otherwise

I honestly can't think of hardly any complaints with this chair. The dense cushions really never go flat after long periods of use. Chair is very comfortable and allows you to recline back and relax or sit very upright during moments you need to focus. I tend to accidentally rotate the armrests as they can swivel left to right but overall it's the best PC chair I've ever had! Great buy when it's on sale for $300 or $319!

Best chair I have owned with one issue.

This chair is great. I am a big guy and I go through chairs about every year and half. They start to lean on me and can no longer be tightened up. I do not see that being a problem with this chair as it has a steel frame and bolts together solid. It did not take long to put it together and so far I have had no issues with it flipping over due to the offset of the post. You just have to be mindful not to sit on the edge of the seat. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the arm rests. They are not the most comfortable as they are plastic covered. I fixed this issue by adding padded covers to them and they are now great. With a Chair at this price range I should not have had to do this so I am reducing it by one star. Would I purchase this again? Yes in a heartbeat even at full price.

I got mine on sale for $300, it's a great chair for that price, can't say it's worth $529 but thats my opinion. Overall, quality is there, comfortable and adjustments are great addition for the neck and back.
The flat bottom is great to rest your leg as you're sitting. I'm a 5'10" 220lb guy and it fits me great. I'll say the assembly was a little longer than needed, grab some power tools to ease the installation.

Fixes problems with the Core EX-wide chair...

I tried out the highly-acclaimed Akracing Core Series EX-Wide chair first. The steel "wings" on the sides really killed that chair for me. So, i looked for something that didn't have those wings - lo and behold, the Max chair.
After breaking it in, I can sit in the Max chair for many many hours straight with no issues, in any sitting posture I'd like (I like to keep my legs relaxed and apart).
A bit pricey, but worth it.
I'm also very glad that I bought the chairs from Best Buy instead of an on-line only storefront, because then I would have been stuck with the chair that didn't work out for me - it would be quite difficult mailing in an already-assembled chair.
One thing to note: do not get this chair if you are a short person - I am 5' 11 and it works well for me, but I also have the chair one notch above the lowest available height.

I've been looking for a good computer chair. Was originally looking for a secret labs chair but my friend pointed out to me this was on sale for the daily deal. I pulled the trigger and ended up getting it and wow how great is this chair! I could not have been happier with my purchase, I would have paid full price for it if I knew how quality this was gonna be!

Chair was great maybe no worth the money but solid built. My only issue was the damage to the chair when I got the box. A rethought of the packaging would help. Best maybe to purchase in store. Assembly was easy but had to makeshift some4 items because of the damage. I would purchase it again, maybe a cheaper one. Gamer chairs are the way to go!!!

Yes you can pay much less for a chair but AKRacing is worth the money. The build quality is impressive, I expect to get decades of use out of it. The adjustability lets me dial it in and work for hours without getting uncomfortable.

The chair is quite large. It seems to be a bit taller than was described. Seat is wide as well as the back. Pretty comfortable from day one. A bit firm but that should be good for longevity. The only real complaints I would have would be it is a little on the warm side after long periods of use and at it's lowest setting it is still really tall.

I purchased 4 other chairs before deciding on this one, while this was the most expensive it was the cheapest acceptable chair.
Biggest pro of this chair. All gaming chairs, backs are 21-25", but the usable flat part is almost almost always under 12.5" wide, Wide enough for most teenager and smaller adults. I'm 5'7" 170lbs I fit between in that size gap but my shoulders are squeezed together and slightly forward (very painful after 40min) The usable part of this chair's back is 13.9". This chair is wide enough so that if I center perfectly centered, nothing pushes on my shoulders.
The seat cushion on this chair is firm, so firm I was going to return it. BUT turns out the softer seats start flatting as you sit on them. The other seats took about 2 hours before they're completely flat and all you feel is the metal base. This seat might be firmer but stays full 'inflated' for over 8 hours. So the firm cushion is only a con if you use your desk chair under 2 hours a day, anything longer and its a pro.
The pleather, base, arms, base, wheels are, springs are all good quality.
One negative this chair has is the seams. The stitching won't come apart but is very imprecisely made. Instead of stitching the edges together, there is a lot of extra material on either side of the stitching. Basically, every spot on the chair where 2 colors meet has a hard ridge running under it. It's just enough to leave a crease in you sit on it without clothes =P
Another negative others reported is that the chair is front heavy. If the back is full upright and you balance on the front edge, the chair could tip forward. The bolt holes on the chair are wide enough to slide the seat forward/back for about an inch. If the chair is slid all the way forward its is still front heavy but won't tip by just sitting in the lip.

purchased the large size expecting a robust piece of furniture that would stand up to abuse
not that difficult to put together and has satisfied all users so far
you should be a taller person for this chair

Large chair, I'm 6'5 210 lbs and it fits me well with room to spare. Adjustable in many different ways and comfortable. Only complaint is the rotation on the arms can;t be locked or tension tightened but it is a minor thing that you get used to quickly.

Really glad I bought this chair. I looks nice, its comfortable, and it works as it should. Assembly was pretty easy. The only complaint I had was the screws were loose in the box and it took me a while to find one as it got stuck in the base of the chair.

This is an extremely comfortable chair. It is great if you have a bad back and are 6'4" and 250 lbs. Unfortunately, it is very easy to tip the chair over. In the first two weeks of owning this chair, I have tipped over and has collapsed on top of me three times. DO NOT SIT ON THE FRONT. If you are careful and mindful of how you sit and do not lean forward, it is still a great chair and I am figuring out how to not make it tip over.
The leather and build quality are amazing. I had a specialized desk chair from work and this is still the best one I have had.

This is a very comfortable gaming chair, would prefer a real leather option, The PU leather off-gasses for a couple days and smells quite awful. It also doesn't breath, which sometimes leads to a sweaty back.

The chair itself is great. I’ve had it for about 3 months now I’m a bigger guy at 270. I can sit comfortably and even pull my leg under me which I can’t do in most chairs. I don’t feel like it’s going to break anytime soon. My only issue with it is the lack of arm rest mobility. I wish that they could slide in another 2 inches or so. It would improve so much as I like to have my elbows in close when I play and they are just a little for out. Other than that, this chair is amazing, can sit in it for hours and no soreness or issues anywhere
