I was shopping for a gaming chair and this passed the check list of everything i was looking for. It's a tank of a chair. Lots of space and tall. Very easy to build and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Bought this chair to game and to use as a chair for work. This chair made working from home during this pandemic super comfortable. Very big chair, nice leather very comfortable using 10 plus hours.

great chair. very comfortable. The only issue I have is the armrests. They are too hard and don't lock in place completely.

Nice wide and firm chair; however..... I wish the chair would seat lower to the floor than it does; and I wish the arm rests would've swiveled up and out of the way. Since the armrests constantly move, I just removed them from the chair completely. I also wish the assembly instructions were better; and included some words in the steps, instead of just pictures.

I'm replacing an old Maxnomic Leader ($459) chair that I had for a few years because it started to peel and the base/cylinder/wheels all needed to be replaced. I decided to repurpose the chair and bought parts so I could give it to my daughter. I decided to look around and didn't hesitate to look at Best Buy so I could pick it up ASAP. I sit in front of my desk all day and needed something the same day. This was the chair I decided to go with. I'm a fairly hefty guy. I weigh about 260 pounds (not losing weight anytime soon) and I'm only 5'11. I looked around for a chair that had a larger max weight limit on the base and this one definitely fits its category. This one goes up to 390 pounds! The frame itself is aluminum, so I doubt you'll ever have issues later down the road with the FRAME itself. A few things that I'm highly disappointed about this chair... Oh, where to begin... 1.) My Maxnomic chair for around the same price had FULL FOAM all the way around the top head base of the chair. SOLID foam with no gaps. With this chair, you can feel the frame and it just feels like they put a small lining of foam underneath and thought that would be quality. This particular model boasts about having extra cushioning and its sad to see and feel that in a $400 chair. 2.) My Maxnomic had a very sturdy arm mechanism. Wherever you stopped it stayed in place whenever you needed to recline or adjust your chair. This chair wobbles a good 2-4 inches back in forth regardless of where it is. The weakness? One arm is held in by one screw in the center so it doesn't stay aligned with the base of the back portion of the chair. Maxnomic has a better backing plate to maintain alignment with the head base of the chair. Minor annoyance but still once again does not feel like quality. 3.) The lumbar pillow.... Where to begin... I can't get this thing to sit straight or sit in place regardless of how I adjust it. The straps just flat out don't work. I had to look online to find out how to keep it strapped because AKRacing does not provide a tutorial on how to do this. While it may be a simple step for some people, it simply does not for others. I tried steps on Youtube videos and I just couldn't adjust it to my liking. I'm often finding myself adjusting the pillow mid gaming session multiple times. The pillow itself also has this horrible dark black stain all over the front from when I pulled it out of the box. Once again... quality issues right out of the box. 4.) The headrest pillow... My Maxnomic was a soft plushy pillow while the AKRacing one is a hard leather-looking pillow that doesn't feel very comfortable. Also, it came out of the box and the pillow itself was lop-sided and never did expand correctly. Now it just looks like I sat on it and visibly looks terrible. 5.) Arm Rests... These are 4D armrests, but who thought it was a great idea to invent an armrest that you have to push forward to adjust the distance forward and back. My Maxnomic chair for almost the same price had a locking button on the side of the chair that allowed for smooth forward and back on the armrest without having to worry about the mechanism failing inside the armrest. Having to push this forward and back on this chair, I could easily see this wearing out quickly and becoming a problem later down the road. 6.) The cushion... is actually incredibly soft. Much more different than my Maxnomic chair. This is where AKRacing wins. The cushion is delightful to sit in... But there is one catch. The Maxnomic chair has a huge solid cushion. Is it stiff? Yes. I, unfortunately, had to replace my cushion with Maxnomic during my warranty period because the cushion itself started falling out from underneath. I also weighed a lot less too back then... The AKRacing cushion while it might feel much more comfortable, it feels much thinner and I'm more worried about this cushion over the length of time I will have this chair. I can simply put my hand underneath my chair and feel the bands underneath the seat bend and I can feel the cushion sinking in between the bands to help with support underneath the chair. 7.) Plastic Cover over arm mechanism is incredibly cheap on this chair. All it takes is a small tap and the plastic housing over your lever pops right off and out of place exposing the parts. It is also held in by plastic clips. I never had an issue with Maxnomic because of how I know that ALL of these chairs are super cheap to make and are super expensive to purchase, but I honestly expected better from AKRacing. I went on a limb and went with what was available. This unfortunately is definitely not worth the price whatsoever. The other main brands like DXRacer, Maxnomic, and, Titan all have much more quality chairs than this by a long shot. Unless you can grab some sort of discount on this chair, I would definitely look elsewhere. This chair should only be in the $200 range with how cheaply it is made.

This chair is huge. I am 6’2 almost 300 pounds and this chair could easily support someone much bigger then me. I almost wish it was a little narrower in the seat area. I got this specifically becuase it didn’t have raised side seat bolsters. However at my size and the size of this chair, they likely would not have bothered me. If your much shorter you may want to use a foot stool. Having said that my son is 5’5 and 160 ponds or so and he thinks it’s the most comfortable thing ever. He also has not tried any seats more appropriate for his size though. Watch for a sale however to get the best value out of it.

When I got the chair, the bottom assembly was broken, so I waited on this review. My work schedule doesn't allow me time to drive to return to the store, so I contacted the company. Within 24 hours, they responded, and less than 48 hours later they said they would ship me the broken part as soon as it was in stock. I got the part and now the chair is perfect! Comfy for long hours at the computer, easy to assemble, but pretty heavy to pick up and move around.

I bought this chair primarily for office work rather than gaming and find it comfortable. The lumbar cushion is a must for remote work. The neck cushion does not always stay put and I find that I fidget with it occasionally, but otherwise it is fine. Assembly is possible for one person but would be infinitely easier with two. But the end result is I am not nearly as stiff after an eight hour workday. Expensive, but worth getting, especially if it's on sale.

I’ve had this chair almost a year now and I’m 6’4 400lbs and this chair is great super sturdy feels strong all over. I sit in this chair everyday and still going strong I have long gaming sessions at least 3-4 times a week and my bottom does get sore as the cushion is not great for extra long gaming sessions but most gaming chair are like that just use the head rest or lumbar pillow to sit on if you need to. Overall 100 percent recommend best chair I’ve ever had.
