Not entirely as advertised

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't weigh anything near the advertised weight limit, and the hydraulics stopped working properly after a couple months. The seat stays elevated maybe 30 minutes to an hour, but slowly lowers the whole time until it feels like you're sitting on concrete. It's a gradual process, so you don't notice right away and and end up sitting uncomfortably most of the time. I bought this chair specifically to not do that, but most of the chairs with an advertised 250 lb weight limit do a better job than this. If you have a cheerleader body type, this thing is probably fine. If you have a defensive lineman body type, don't waste your money. In between is anybody's guess. Who knows, you might get lucky. Wouldn't it be cool if you could just go by the label?
