The wonderful outcome was thanks to my daughter and granddaughter, who very methodically put it together. It took them 3 hours.

I like the desk, but...

Additionally, I suppose in shipment, 2 edges on the back piece were damaged. Decided to go ahead with putting it together as returning it seemed even more difficult. Size and storage are very good, but quality is just ok, not great. You get what you pay for on this one.
