I purchased this air purifier about 2 months ago. Since that time it has performed as advertised. I have it located in my 900sq ft basement - in a home I had just purchased. The previous owner did not use the basement except for her 5 cats and their litter box. Needless to say, I am very allergic to cats and react strongly to dust allergians as well (of which, there was plenty). The Alen BreatheSmart has allowed me to spend time in the basement (after some rigorous initial dusting and cleaning as well) without any issues. The colored air sensor is amazing! Each day when I head downstairs I can visibly see the sensor shows blue for clean air. This is after the basement and its air were left undisturbed overnight and the purifier was able to work its magic. The sensor then reacts as expected if I am downstairs working or playing with the kids, kicking up dust and carpet fibers. The sensor will change to orange or sometimes red and will automatically adjust the fan speed to high to counteract the contaminated air. After a while, the fan speed will lower and the sensor returns to blue. On most fan speed settings the fan noise is unnoticeable - the only time I really hear the fan, is when it's kicks on to high for brief periods to quickly clean the air. Very happy. Considering buying a second one for my upstairs!

I have named my Air purifier "Alen", not very a very clever name but it is an awesome air purifier. Very sensitive to smells in the house, from cooking, to the dogs, Alen is always aware when something changes the quality of the air around it. Blue light indicator glows when its is happy and red when its mad. You can hear and feel the difference quickly as it adjust in strength. A bit expensive but i was tired of not being able to get enough sq. ft. from lesser air purifiers. It also seems that the filters are going to be expensive to replace and require change more frequently than expected. Just because of the price point, i would give it 4.5 stars and not 5.

Very user friendly directions for set up. Had it going in about 5 minutes. Works great!

I bought this air purifier to help with my son's indoor allergies. I expected to see a little improvement, but since I plugged this unit in he has been clear.

I’ve had this product for a year now and I love it. I have an indoor dog and I can tell the difference with this being in the home now, the air just feels cleaner. I didn’t have allergies this year as well which was new. The only struggle I’ve had is finding the correct filter to go into it. I’ve bought two from the website with No luck.

Overall I gave this a 4, but only b/c it's impossible to tell the true efficacy of this product. I am sneezing a lot less (I have a cat and the dander had me sneezing incessantly) and can feel the air circulate around my entire living space (I have an open layout of about 1,000sq ft and the purifier is in the corner). It's extremely quiet on low & medium mode and has a sleek look; tho it's slightly larger than I had expected.

EIther I am crazy or I am actually breathing better. Air feels, smells better. These units seems to constantly make noise but its subtle and ends up blending into the background.

Stopped my indoor allergies at my house dead in their tracks. Very happy with this purchase.

This air purifier seems to be great. It work well so far. I can't tell more about it now since I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I will update my status in a couple month or so. Overall it is good product with a nice LED light display.

clearly cleaned my living room of odor and dirt. highly recommended for people with pets at home. been a blessing for my wife's allergy clearing up.

Setup was a breeze. Love that it has multiple settings. The ionizer can be turned on or off as well, which was a plus. Pretty hefty price tag, but we were looking to buy something more expensive and higher quality which pretty well is going to cost a bit as it is. This was reviewed well in searches and was able to be bundled with other purchases to get 24 month financing. Happy thus far, though we shall see how it performs over time.

I moved into a house where the basement had been flooded a few times and wanted something to clear out the smell/any mold. Prior to buying this you couldn't stay down there for any length of time without sneezing/coughing and the smell was horrendous. Once down there it took a couple of days to move from Red to Blue but it was able to handle the 900 sqft easily I think. The basement is now a gym and I can run/cycle without any issues breathing wise Pros: Easy to setup/use Good for large spaces Doesn't eat up a lot of electricity Cons: If you have a power outage it does not come back on automatically Can be loud if on Turbo, I'd say equal to a dehumidifier on high

Excellent quiet and efficient air purifier! Would absolutely recommend.

So far I've had this product for about two weeks. In terms of better air quality, I honestly don't smell or feel any difference than without the purifier. However, I do see A LOT less dust on my furniture and floors. I cleaned out the filter after 2 weeks of use on the auto setting and there already was a considerable amount of dust and dog hair in the filter. So in my overall opinion it's working as I'm not breathing it in as it's not floating around in my house.

This air purifier is very attractive & does not detract from the decor of my living area. It is doing a tremendous job of eliminating dust mites in the air and the recurring accumulation of dust particles on my glass top furniture, that had previously been very difficult to keep under control.

Having many allergies and damaged lungs, needed a purifier that would eliminate the problems that I breathe in the air. The Alen breathSmart air purifier had the best reviews on google, so I bought it at Best Buy, and it did exactly what the reviews identified. Clean pure air! Now I own two!

I used this badboy while spring cleaning, intense dusting and then painting my place. Perfect tool to get rid of the dust beyond dusting from my 2 cats and 2 dogs. Highly worth the heavy price tag.

I like many features and that has good filters. Its a little noisy on high I have to chose a lower setting at night-but its great if someone comes to visit with a mask on-I can turn it on high to get rid of virus within a short time. I try and open windows too.

I bought it as a present. The recipient loves it. It works great!

Bought this waaaay before covid-19. It has kept the air around me and my family super clean. Haven’t had any issues with allergies after buying this. I’m even more happy and lucky i have this during this crazy pandemic.
