It would be worth it just to get this set for the 1st and 2nd films in the series. They are absolutely classics that look amazing for their age. It had been years since I had watched the 3rd and 4th films and while they look good on blu-ray they are still as awful as they ever were. Having multiple versions of each movie is great and this set is certainly a huge upgrade from the great DVD set I bought years and years ago.

This is a must buy for any fan of cinema or blu-ray. Amazing video/sound quality. Two versions of each film. The most comprehensive collection of extras I've ever seen (only to be rivaled by one of the Blade Runner releases). Seriously, the extra alone are worth the buy several times over. And at the discount prices it has been maintaining lately, buying this is a no-brainer. Do it. Do it now.

Voted as one of the top 15 movie franchises of all-time. From Ridley Scott's suspense thriller in Alien, to James Cameron's action adventure in Alien 2, to Fincher's survival circus in Alien 3, this set (particularly in Blu-Ray) is timeless masterpiece and remains one of my favorite movie franchises, ever. Here's to Alien 5!

At the sale price of $25 this is so worth it. All 4 Alien movies on Blu Ray is so great. And just in time for the new movie too. My only gripe is the fact that discs are inserted into a paper sleeve more or less. That wouldn't protect the discs too much but it shouldn't be moving that much anyways. There are a lot of features and extras in this package making it all the worth while.

The first movies are universally loved. The second two less so. But the extensive extras will give even the biggest haters a new appreciation for the entire series. The extended cut of Alien 3 I highly recommend and the making of documentary will leave you with your mouth open just imagining the wild dream of a movie they originally green lit to be the original Alien 3.

There are so many extra features that I was very shocked. You can watch them all as they were originally first aired, which was more condensed, or the more recent expanded versions with removed footage added back in. I was amazed at how many new scenes were added. If you like the Alien movies, this is an excellent addition to collection and it is excellently packaged like a set should be.

If you love The Alien movies you have to purchase this amazing collection. All 4 movies have a directors/special edition along with the theatrical editions. Watching the movies after being digitally enhanced with all new sound and picture is like watching a whole new movie but, even better. Also, includes over 60 hours of special features. You can't beat this deal anywhere.

Wow! ALIEN will have you on the edge of your seat as the movie progresses! Then, ALIENS is one of the few sequels to improve upon the original, especially the expanded version which is included in this set! Sigourney Weaver is great in this role! Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection are more of the same fun, but the first two films are my favorite! This is definitely a set worth owning!

I got this cause, first I love all the aliens. Yes even the originals that obviously we know don't have anywhere close to amazing graphics as today, and second it was on a lovely sale. I'm one of those people if something I want had a set I want the whole thing not just one part two parts. So when it comes to something like this I definitely was all for. Now. Before buying I highly recommend seeing at least the first somehow. Due to the movies aren't all newish. The picture is much better then before but still you can't photo out the actors. It's not worth the money if you're going to possibly like it and then never use it. Leave it for someone who knows what they are getting into.

Excellent price for the Anthology.The movies look outstanding,sound great,and are some of the best horror movies ever made.One of my favorites of all time is the original Alien movie.I purchased the set for around $25,which is a no brainer if you are a fan.I had only watched the first 2 in the series until I purchased this anthology.Would make an excellent gift.Glad I purchased.

Picked this up when Best Buy had a fantastic sale on it. The original films aged very well, that till this day they strike fear into new people watching them. The quality is fantastic, and looks great on my Sony 4K set. If you are going to get any version, get this Anthology.

All contained in a beautiful collectors box. This is one of my most cherished movie collections. A must have for any fan of the series.

This gorgeous box set is a must-own for an Alien fan. All four mainline Alien films plus two additional Blu-rays for extra content. The disk inlays feature still shots from the individual movies as well as some artwork. Few box sets capture the essence of their movies as well as the Alien Anthology does. Definitely recommended!

What else can you say about these films that haven't been said? Amazing works of Sci-Fi and this set belongs in every movie fan's collection. The blu-ray transfer is stunning on every film! This is worth getting for Alien & Aliens alone, plus all the bonus features. Great set at a great price on sale. Highly recommend.

I've always been a fan of the Alien series and to finally acquire all of the movies in a single package was a great buy. Each movie comes in its original cut, and then re-release version. In essence, you get 8 movies. Add in all of the additional commentary and bonus features, and you've got enough content for a deep-space horror weekend.

I must say I like the first to Alien movies best, but getting this anthology made me like the last two more than before. Especially alien 3 which I never like makes more sense when you watch it in this anthology. All four movies wit director commentaries and two bonus discs on top make for some great story telling. Great value and packaging.

What can you say. After the release of the latest Alien films, it is good to go back to the beginning and relive the first 4. I still remember the trailer for the Original Alien film. 'In Space, no one can hear you scream' The extra 2 discs give you a great insight on the original 1st 4 fims.

This movie really peaked my interest in SiFi when it came out. The cinematography is awesome. The sets are great and the SRS sound is very well done. The casting is also great. I cant say enough about this movie. Do your self a favor and buy it from Best Buy and give your self a thrill if you haven't seen it.

This is what all studios need to do when making a collection of a series. The best quality possible is available on all 4 movies. Each movie has 2 versions. And there are so many extras I couldn't even begin. If you love the alien franchise at all, you must grab this!

When you remind yourself that most of these came out decades ago, and you see the remastered in Blue Ray, it reminds you more now than even then, how good the Alien saga is. This is a great set with everything you need to get you caught up. You get both theatrical and newer special edition versions.
