After using this monitor, you would notice the slow refresh and lag on a normal monitor. There is no going back

I bought this monitor and upgraded from 77hz to the 240hz of this monitor and it’s like night and day. The g sync capability completely changed my gameplay for the better . Also the borderless screen and overall design of this monitor are very appealing to the eye.Color is also top notch.

So far so good. Upgraded to this from the Asus 144hz FreeSync and the difference was definitely worth the price. GSYNC works really well and allows for me to play games with higher graphic settings without having to suffer from stuttering and bad frame pacing. The overall look is awesome and the added RGB effect is very modern. I have the settings on a static red light to complement my setup but you can enable a spectrum for full RGB or select a range of colors to fade through. It weighs a decent amount compared to other monitors of the same size but it makes it feel really premium. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a very fast monitor for faster paced PC gaming: league, overwatch, osu, csgo, etc,.

I went from a 60 hz monitor to this one. The G-sync alone makes a huge difference! I played a few games with G-sync enabled and still at 60 hz and the screen tearing and ghosting went down dramatically. When I went up to 240 hz it was simply amazing!

Don't get me wrong, this monitor is well built and extremely great at the one task it should be used for, excelling at FPS games. I'd give it a 5 star if that's all I cared about, but honestly, this thing falls way short when it comes to performing regular tasks on it. Additionally, this also has the middle screen split issue where there's a line that goes down the middle that is not aligned properly. This seems to be a known issue with Gsync monitors =( I am actually borderline thinking of returning this because there's no point in paying a Gsync premium when you have to constantly reset the monitor, not to mention this is a total buzz kill when you are mid game. Plus it's one of the most expensive monitors out there for the price. I am now looking at a 27" QHD monitor to potentially replace this. Get it if you want to get high FPS and predominantly play games where texture and details matter less than pure performance. Don't get it if you want something that allows provides higher resolution and clarity, especially if you don't have a dual monitor setup.

I have been using this monitor for 2.5 years. It has held up over time, and still operates just like new. I love that it has the USB ports with data pass-through so I can have my keyboard plugged into it (and my mouse plugged in to my keyboard), it makes the cable management on my desk so much better. The stand this comes with is awesome. I only wish my desk wasn't in the corner so that I could see the RGB logo on the back of the monitor! With a 1080TI graphics card, I am consistently able to get over 200 FPS playing Overwatch and Valorant. I only wish the data pass-through could happen via the displayport cable somehow so I could run just one cable instead of two, but that's very minor.

This is the second Alienware monitor I have purchased from Best Buy. I really liked the first one so I decided to get a second. This is by far the best gaming monitor on the market for color, speed, and refresh rate! Highly recommend!

I gave this monitor a chance with a large Christmas sale. At first I did not know how to increase the refresh rate of the monitors with a red 2070 but still enjoyed the amazing gameplay. Then I finally learned how to increase the refresh rate and was blown away with the image the monitor provided. At normal price it could be a little too much money but was overall worth the investment

This monitor was built for gaming. It stands up to its description. It has an amazing picture and running games at 240hz makes a huge difference. With g-sync included this is a great monitor. I would buy it again and again.

My daughter & I first spotted this on display at a competitor. We loved the designed, color, and overall crisp image it had (we played Forza 7 on it). We finally picked one up while it was on sale. So far we are very happy with it!

nice monitor for fps gaming, if you mostly play fps games i would recommend this monitor, if you mostly play mmorpg/non fps games i would recommend the dell s2417dg 165hz or s2716dg 144hz( if you have the graphics card to push 1440p) my first one had a dead pixel but was super easy to return the best buy and the new one is perfect with 0 back light bleed or dead/stuck pixels, 240hz is a noticeable improvement over 144hz but of course only if you can reach that frame rate.. if you arent very sensitive to refresh rate changes you will absolutely still feel a difference if you use 240 for a few games and try 144 again, 144 is a bit more blur 240hz is extremely clear, this monitor also supports 144hz lightboost mode aka ultra low motion blur mode, that gives you 0 motion blur at a cost of lower refresh rate, but unlike most other monitors with this feature this one doesn't have any noticeable brightness loss with it enabled.

G Sync with a Nvidia card is amazing. 240 HZ is outstanding. Picked up on sale for $350. Totally worth it. I bought two before Xmas for my kids. Im finding myself on their computer now when they aren’t here!

Don't let anyone tell you 240hz isn;t worth it.. It definitely is, but the problem is that you wont see the same substantial variance from 144 to 240. The main drawback of this refresh rate is how it exposes 60 fps as horribly slow. You won't be able to play at less than 100FPS after you see what 240hz looks like. This is really difficult in most games, so you will play a game of what settings can I reduce. The color reproduction, black levels are all fantastic. No issues with dead pixels, ghosting or artifacting on my unit.

An amazing desktop monitor if you’ve got the money to spare, beautiful design great refresh rate, the only con is the price and the size of it.

I have never owned a monitor ever and for my first one this was a bit pricey but I see why it is I has 240hz 1 ms 4K and absolutely gorgeous looking stand and design

I’ve never had a gaming pc so it was a difficult decision on what monitor to get. I did plenty of research on 24” and 27” monitors but then I saw this one on sale, read the reviews and decided this as the winner. Easy to setup, looks fantastic. Now I know why pc gamers always rave how the graphics are way better than any console. I play overwatch and apex and there is a huge difference from 30 FPS to 230 lol. No complaints about this monitor and totally recommend it.

I hot this monitor for my husband and he loves it! The refresh rate is excellent! Compared to his 60fps it's so fast! Great graphics as well!

Monitor arrived well before indicated delivery date. Superbly packaged -- eco-friendly design. Easy set-up: sturdy base that takes up little surface space. Display: super clarity and ideal size, especially when reviewing deisgn specs and reviewing volumes of documents. Versatility: easy to rotate monitor (having super well-designed base is major plus). Purchased on sale which was a FANTASTIC price for a highly well made product, with performance that exceeds expectations.

If you play any FPS even remotely competitively, you need the highest hz you can get, and G-Sync makes frame dips feel as smooth as butter.
