I’m very happy with this monitor. The display quality is extremely sharp and bright, and the colors look amazing. The 180Hz refresh rate makes everything smooth, especially for gaming and fast-moving videos. The size is perfect for my desk, and the design looks modern and premium. I also appreciate how easy it was to set up—just plug in and go. No issues so far, and it works exactly as advertised. Highly recommend it.

This Alienware AW2725DM 27" LED QHD gaming monitor is awesome! It's pretty much 'plug and play.' All I had to do what just go into my PC's Display settings to duplicate/extend my screen appearance, and to adjust resolution. There's also menu options for the monitor itself, via a "joystick" button located in the middle on the underside of the monitor frame. The monitor is made exceptionally well. The display screen attaches to a strong, sturdy, solid base. While there isn't a "slider-type" 'up/down' adjustment on the stand, the monitor does tilt, as well as, swivel to a vertical position, if desired. There is also a 'cord minder' cut-out hole on the stand, which is quite helpful. The monitor comes with 3 cables (besides the power cord) - an HDMI cable, Display Port cable, USB Type-A to USB Type-B cable. There are 2 HDMI ports, 1 Display Port, 2 USB-A, and 1 USB-B ports. The power cord is nice and lengthy; strong yet flexible. Now, while the monitor screen itself is only 27" diagonally, the display dimension seems larger perhaps as a result of the 2560x1440 screen resolution. Couple that with Nvidia's G-Sync technology, and the performance of this gaming monitor impresses. This Alienware's LED display boasts bright, clear, lifelike visuals. In a word, it's gorgeous!

I never expected that the one thing in my house that I needed more of than anything would be monitors, but it turns out that is the case. Alienware has released another excellent entry to their lineup that while it may not be their highest end, is definitely a great monitor. Packaging: To start, it's well packaged, as to be expected, comes with power, HDMI and Displayport cables, as well as the stand of course. Box is rather large but it's a good sized monitor, though I figure they could probably save some cardboard somewhere, it's not really a ding on the item Installation: Easy as can be, plug and play, running over HDMI it was instantly recognized by Windows and no issues with setup or configuration. Gaming: Here's the fun part. The monitor supports both AMD Freesync and Nvidia G-Sync which I was in an interesting situation to be able to try out both as I was in the process of upgrading my graphics card from an AMD card to an NVidia card. In both AMD Adrenaline and NVidia Control panel, the monitor was recognized as capable of sync and allowed me to enable adaptive sync as needed for both. In firing up Clair Obscure 33 running it at QHD, the beauty of the monitor was immediately apparent, no tearing, no issues with performance, it really runs well. It's definitely a high performing monitor without breaking the bank. Overall: Alienware always delivers, their blood is gaming and this is another standout addition without sporting the 'Alienware' level price tag. The multiple input types and high refresh with gsync and freesync capabilities make it an easy addition for anyone looking for a solid performing gaming monitor.

This is the Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor - AW2725DM 27" IPS LED QHD 180Hz 1ms. IPS, so the screen doesn't dim when you're not looking straight on. Great for photo & video editing and gaming. 27 inches diagonal. Not ultra-wide, but definitely capable as a solo monitor for active gaming. Also plays nicely with a second monitor thanks to the fully featured stand. Stand offers tilt (-5° to +21°), swivel (±20°), pivot (±90°), and ~4″ vertical height adjustment. Plenty of rotation, tilt up/down, and about 4 inches of vertical adjustment. This is one of my favorite things about the design. It sucks when you get a monitor that can’t adjust at all, and this one just gets it right. This monitor is gaming ready. NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ support eliminates tearing and cuts down on stutter and input lag, giving a smoother, faster gaming experience in 3D titles. It’s got TMDS, HDR, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate), 2 HDMI ports, and 1 DisplayPort. It doesn’t beat OLED on contrast, but you avoid burn-in worries—and save a chunk of money. Games look great, especially my favorite, Fortnite.

For thr price i spent on the monitor and for what im getting is great. The monitor is 2560x1440 180 hz which is great for gaming with quality. The only reason i have it at 4 over is mainly due to the fact it doesnt have adjustible stand. I cant move it up and down but i just mounted it on a monitor mount anyways. The quality and the build seems great and i had no issues since buying it.

This is by far the best monitor at 27" below a $500 price tag. If you shop it on sale it can be as low as barely over $200, like I did. The colors and clarity are great, and the depth of field seems to really be an improvement, but the Alienware software to customize your use really sends it over the top. The extra USB's on the monitor do require reading the installation manual, but if that is a down side, I am not sure if that should be counted. Lastly, do follow the instructions on assembling the stand to the monitor, working in an IT department somewhere else, it is good that Alienware points out how to not break your monitor removing from the box.

I have been really happy wit this monitor. The resolution is very clear. I have 2 computers hooked to it on each of the HDMI ports. Easy to switch between them.

This monitor is great. The screen resolution looks great, and the size of 27'' is pretty big enough and the frame rate looks excellent. It is also affordable among the gaming monitors. The only downside is that it does not have an audio jack, so be cautious before buying the monitor.

Recently got this monitor as I upgraded from a 1080p screen. This monitor has a sharp display, I sit next to a window and this monitor is bright enough that there is no issue of brightness or glare. has plenty of inputs as well as usb ports too!! Gaming has been awesome on this screen. if you dont want to spend OLED money get this LCD screen. it's well worth the money.

One of the only 27" QHD monitors that has a 1.4 Display Port that can support high refresh rates at QHD quality. There is talk online that ghosting is an issue, but unless your face is right in front of the screen it isn't going to be noticed. The stand can also swivel and is very strong despite it being wider than average. Overall images are clear and the monitor can keep up high speeds without issue.

Great monitor with good color accuracy and high refresh rate. Hdr is pretty bad but you wont get good hdr in this price range. Overall a great monitor for all types of games

The monitor is exactly what you'd expect. It's bright, the backlight is uniform and no dead pixels to speak of. The refresh rate and response time are amazing. G-Sync works right after installing drivers from the manufacturer's website with my NVidia card. The build quality is solid. I've wall mounted it so can't speak to the stand, but it looks solid as well.

I bought two of these and have no complaints, the colors are vivid and 1440p is a nice jump from 1080p. For the price and the 180hz refresh rate, this is a great pick for gaming on mid-tier gaming rigs.

Honestly I was pretty iffy about getting this monitor but it’s actually been a very good surprise it has good color and the 1440p looks amazing there seems to be nothing bad about it it’s a very good monitor I had a 1440p 32 inch rig strix and this isn’t a downgrade at all it’s a very good monitor just try it out and if you hate it just return it as long as you don’t rip all the boxes

Don’t walk, run to buy this. Amazing build quality for the price with high refresh rate and 1440p display. I play FPS games and this monitor is a massive step up from my previous 1080p display. Tons of settings to toggle with if you want to customize, Alienware software is easy to use.
