I really love the build quality of alienware. Immediately after opening the box I was a little shocked to see a monitor that wasn't black. The dark navy blue is a really premium look on this monitor. I hope they continue to use it. The base / stand are very sturdy and well designed. The assembly was quite simply one of the easiest things I've ever installed, took less than a minute. The osd and power button are easy to reach and easy to see in the dark. However, the OSD options were lackluster and the only other color mode was some gibberish I didn't recognize. Picking it turned everything green and purple. Would've been nice if the other mode was auto-calibrated. Picture quality wise its decent - I wasn't really impressed. I got to test side by side with an oled, but before that I was coming from a very old non-gaming Dell S2309W (1080p 60hz) monitor so I was expecting a very large upgrade. The colors were good, but because its an IPS display some things were obviously over brightened. For example, the opening main menu of oblivion remastered: it's basically a fade from black to a glowing fire portal. The old dell S2309W was able to handle the black corners better, the alienware displayed obvious sources of light - like a very minor backlight bleed. AW2725DM is good at showing off a 'pop' of color, but it can leave you wanting in dark scenes. At this price point, I feel like they should've offered 240hz, but with the build quality its a solid choice. There are some monitors that offer better HDR quality without stepping into OLED; like the AOC Q27G3XMN / AOC - 27" Q27G40XMN, VA panels for contrast, with Mini-LEDs for brightness control. Now luckily I was able to compare it side by side to an Acer Predator X27U OLED. I got to say surprisingly the alienware beat it in everyway except for the picture quality which is saying a lot. I mean for some reason the X27U A1 doesn't even come with a power button?! The stand could punch holes in your drywall if you aren't careful?! Like what? I might just end up getting an alienware oled instead. That's how much it impressed me. If the AW2725DM was able to do a slightly better job with contrast / hdr performance and offer greater monitor fine tuning I would've kept it and recommended to everybody

Amazing value at the price point. The monitor has great features like a built in 2 port usb hub and having an integrated power supply makes cable management super easy. Image quality is also great with almost zero black smearing and ghosting on the ufo test which makes it awesome for gaming. At this price point, you can’t go wrong with this monitor.

Well designed gaming monitor. Solidly built high quality construction. The edge to edge display is amazing. I use mine to work projects in ArcGIS Pro. Spectacular performance and responsiveness.

I mainly use it as a secondary monitor next to an 34 inch ultrawide. It’s definitely nice, very sharp and just has a clean classy look. Love the high refesh rate. Worth the price.

This is a fantastic display for the price. It has a great response time, decent refresh rate, and good options for inputs. The cable pass-through on the stand makes cable maintenance pretty easy, too.

After upgrading to the Alienware AW2725DM, I can confidently say this is one of the best gaming monitors I’ve ever used. Everything about it feels premium — from the design to the performance — and the jump to 180Hz at 1440p is genuinely mind-blowing. The 180Hz refresh rate makes everything ridiculously smooth. The Fast IPS panel brings accurate colors and great viewing angles, so whether you’re gaming, editing, or streaming, it looks fantastic from every angle. The display supports VESA DisplayHDR 400, which gives an extra punch of brightness and contrast for a more dynamic image. It’s not OLED-level HDR, but it adds noticeable depth to visuals. The 95% DCI-P3 color coverage makes it solid for light content creation or photo editing, too. Build quality is classic Alienware: sturdy stand, sleek design, and adjustable in every direction (tilt, swivel, height, and pivot). The backlighting adds a subtle premium touch without being over the top. Setup was quick, and the on-screen display menu is clean and easy to navigate.

I bought this monitor to pair with my brand new PC build, and in my eyes this is absolutely a great choice to purchase for a mid to high end PC build, and it is not an extreme price either. I was unsure of purchasing a monitor, worried the one I bought wouldn’t fully embrace my highish-end PC, and/or have to increase my PC budget by a lot more to get a decent monitor. I’m so happy to admit my Nvidia 5070 RTX GeForce GPU/OVERALL PC works absolute wonders with this monitor and its G-SYNC compatibility. Super easy to change settings, and of course the resolution/refresh rate is superb. Does come in dark blue which was unexpected, but it matches my set up perfectly.

For the price you can't beat it. Got it on a sale for the holiday weekend and it was marked down $30 from its full price. For a 2k QHD monitor that checks all the boxes for screen quality you can't beat it. This does not have speakers and does not have RGB lighting which is why the price is lower and more competitive. Currently I have it hooked to my MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro via the DisplayPort-USB-C cable and it's functioning correctly in clamshell mode with the lid shut. The dell 3 year basic warranty is nice too for peace of mind. Only thing to know is the display arm and back of the monitor is blue in color and not all black. This is hard to tell from the photos but not a big deal...only can really see it when the sun light or artificial light is shining on it. Overall I would recommend.

This Alienware 1440p 180Hz monitor is amazing. The picture is super sharp, colors look great, and the 180Hz refresh rate makes everything incredibly smooth, especially for gaming. Build quality feels premium and setup was quick and easy. This was a big upgrade for me and a perfect first piece for my PC build. If I win the $400 gift card would go a long way toward finishing the rest of my setup. Highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for high performance!

Perfect 1440p monitor. It's surprisingly light, the picture is incredibly smooth and fluid, HDR and many features. I'd call it the jack of all trades. Make sure you update the drivers/firmware.

I use it for my PS5 and I love it!! The colors are great and it can do 120hz on games that support it. Everything is great.

Very happy with this purchase! I'm using the monitor with my Raspberry Pi 5 as an external display, and it works perfectly. The image quality is sharp, and setup was simple and quick. The monitor was delivered by FedEx and unfortunately the factory packaging was damaged during shipment. However, the factory packaging protected the monitor from any harm. Thanks to that, the monitor arrived in perfect working condition with no internal damage. Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance and value, and I plan to purchase another one in the near future.

Getting arpund 160-170 fps when I plug into the display port. I'd type more, but the keyboard on my android phone is blocking the area where the words go.

Good colors and resolution, nice monitor for the price!

I love it so much, it has really good resolution. It is also really smooth doesn’t lag and doesn’t have screen tears.

Got it to use with my Xbox and it works amazing! It runs in 1440p at 120 hz on my series X. Picture quality is fantastic. One thing to keep in mind, it does not have an audio out or speakers. So if using on a console, you’ll need headphones or an hdmi audio extractor for speakers. But I use gaming headphones so that’s not an issue. Also, set up was VERY easy. Highly recommend!

Runs good, is bright, and has high resolution. Was super easy to set up as well, as it comes with 3 different types of cords to use. Switching between using this monitor for my PC to using it for my PS5 was easy.

The monitor is easy to setup, and you can monitor up, down, left, right, and adjust the inclination angle, which is really convenient for all kind of purposes. It has G-sync, so it works great with Nvidia GPUS, and it also looks great.You can also connect your mouse and keyboard to the monitor instead of the Desktop. Note: It does not have audio, so you need headphones or other audio systems.
