I love this monitor! I can go back to regular monitors after experiencing ultrawide. Colors are vibrant! Superb Quality.

Worked great for 6 months now I am getting screen flickering at 120hz. Look it up on google, tons of people are having this problem as well. You get a black or blue bar flickering horizontally across your screen every 5-10 minutes or so. The flickering goes away when using the monitor at 100hz. Alienware (Dell) will not replace your monitor because it is technically an "overclock" to get to 120hz even though it is marketed as a 120hz monitor in the Best Buy description. It is a beautiful screen but stay away or buy the geek squad protection if you are buying this for 120hz. This monitor also had a light-moderate amount of backlight bleed in the corners but I can say it was definitely a LOT better than the backlight bleed I experienced on my old Acer Predator X34. Other than the issues mentioned this monitor is top tier for games. The IPS panel makes the colors pop and gsync keeps your games buttery smooth if you are outputting a fluctuating frame rate. I would recommend having a GTX 1080TI or higher graphics card to take full advantage of the high resolution and framerate. You would still enjoy this monitor with a regular GTX 1080, but it may struggle in some of the more demanding games without turning settings down to medium.

The best build quality for monitor I've seen - sturdy and sleek looking! Not perfect though - black color reproduction could be better.

I was really agonizing over whether to get this monitor or the Predator 34. Got this on sale for $850 and really glad I went with Alienware. Slight bleed at bottom corners but nothing that noticeable. The picture is crystal clear and I felt the colors were amazing right out of the box. I had to calibrate my TN panel that I own but this one was all set right away. Playing some older games on the widescreen doesn’t work out ideally but it is still worth it. Have been playing assassins creed odyssey and the graphics are amazing.

This monitor is making all the difference in my gaming experience. With a faster refresh rate and wide screen, it's at the top of my list.

Short and sweet. Im running 2080ti and i7 9700k. First PC build ever. My main purpose is gaming and video/photo editing. I base this review on performance with the 2080ti since it’s the flag ship graphic card at the moment. This monitor is perfect for the 2080ti. No need for 144hz or 4k because comprises at those specs are subjective. The main thing missing is hdr, but at the current price point of this monitor vs whenever the hdr monitors drop ($1500-2000k). I think this would be the best value and performance.

i bought this to replace my yamakasi 27 inch and this thing rocks...100mhz 3440x1440 with gsync. buy this and enjoy gaming on an ultrawide!

Seems to be a great monitor all around way more expensive than a lot of other monitors but in this case you get what you pay for

I use this monitor for gaming and also for video editing. Great for both. Colors and response time is 100% great

The most amazing monitor for gaming. 120hz feels the same as 144. Definitely puts more stress on my pc.

The monitor is extremely dim. Fixing it to where it is bearable makes it so over contrast and washed out it isn't even funny. I did like the curve, the led lighting, the resolution and the refresh but honestly for the money it just isn't for me. The new HDR displays coming have over 600 nits of brightness and lots more led zones with higher level contrast rates. I'm going to save my money and wait for the new next gen monitors. They are also going to sport even higher refresh rates. Sure the price of entry is going to be more steep but honestly it's more about quality for me than it is about getting something that doesn't fit the bill. Solid pass on this monitor for me and I will be returning it after all the crazy holiday returns die down.

Get this on sale I paid $699 and at that price it is an absolute deal. Great screen great resolution
