    Alienware - Still the Best

Great machine with amazing graphics. The backlit keyboard and Alienware Control Center are very nice but I would not recommend it for a casual user. The fan can get quite loud if you don't know how to tune the settings which can be annoying to anyone around you. That being said, the speed of the machine is phenomenal and the graphics processor is top notch. Alienware has always been marketed as the gold standard for gaming (and it is) but any good gaming machine is also great for video and audio editing which is something I do on a regular basis. Highly recommend this machine with the caveat that you know how to tune the hardware.

Awesome gaming laptop, wife got it for me on my birthday as I travel for work and its easier to carry around a laptop rather than a console. Powerhouse of a machine in my opinion. I play Tarkov, ready or not, dayz. Pubg, COD you name it. Itll run all the titles effortlessly. Im very pleased with this laptop.

This is my first Alienware gaming laptop, and I gotta say, so far it has been superb. This machine is fast, from the boot up time to the performance, thanks to the processor and graphics card. The refresh rate is awesome and a great display. At first this computer will take a lot of tweaking and customization to get used to but is simple once you get the hang of it. It does get warm when playing games, but can be offset in the BIOS like others have mentioned before, and the use of Ryzen Controller. The fans can get loud but is manageable through Alienware Command Center. The battery life, while not the best as expected in a gaming laptop, can be maximized with battery efficiency tweaks. Overall, I am fascinated with this laptop and love it.

I had this for about 2 years now, and I like it. Sometimes there are problems with it being problematic. I still like it as a laptop, but now I do wish I spent the money on an actual desktop setup.Overall, it’s a really good laptop for gaming, but I think it’s very pricey for a laptop.

I will be super honest this is a great laptop, I have wanted one since I was a kid, with that said after you get past the amazing design, and the rgb lighting, the amazing graphics. It is a little loud as far as the fans and man I mean loud lol, also the battery life is not as they say. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend for gaming!

The best competitors I have had for what I need in addition to fulfilling all the functions the brand offers very well. Which efficiently plays programs that require high device playback. I like Alienware for trying to improve the quality of its products in addition to its designs that are futuristic and aesthetically catch your attention when you buy a computer, laptop, or any technological product.

Good performance, but insanely loud and not worth the noise. Ended up with a blade 14 that is quieter and cooler. If the Alienware had a vapor chamber and better fans, it would probably ably run cooler and quieter. Good for the price and the display is really good though.

The laptop is certainly very powerful but the cooling solution isn’t quite enough to keep CPU temperatures under control. Even replacing the thermal paste with XTM-70, it regularly sat at 100 C. The GPU never got too hot, usually sitting between 65-75 C. The screen was amazing though! Phenomenal colors and crazy smooth refresh rate.

So when my tower died I decided to get a laptop for travel purposes. I was very skeptical because Alienware was bought by Dell and they pretty much destroyed the name. So needless to say walking in-store I was underwhelmed with options that could handle gaming and 3d slicing. And the price tag, OOF. I was nervous but I needed something then and now so I took a very expensive plunge which did infact have me stress sweating handing over my card. But I am so happy I did. This laptop demolishes slicing time, no lag, no stuttering when I'm looking at the 3d models. And its performance on games just muah! (insert chef kiss) the only complaint I have is the battery life isn't as long as I would want it to be, but this is an excellent laptop for everything I needed it to be. It checks all the boxes. Performs like Linkin Park, Live at Texas. A non stop power house that can handle wall to wall action. If you can afford it, do it.

It's been a long time since I bought a gaming laptop. Found myself looking for a replacement to my Lenovo P1. While this computer is definitely not a light boy, sitting at close to 5.5lbs I wouldnt consider it very portable. Although the Ryzen R9 5900HX and 48gb of ram I put in is more than capable for gaming/work. The keyboard, display and trackpad are the two biggest things I care about for daily use. Everything is great with the exception of the trackpad. It is rather small however, enabling tap to click made it much easier to manage. If you're looking for a solid computer and not too worried about weight/small trackpad look no further!

Had the M4 with the intel chip and it seemed faster for surfing and more capable for student type uses but this is just as fast at gaming and video. Gets a bit hotter but with a cooling pad there are no issues
