I was a little cautious when first considering this purchase based on some bumps upon initial release. However, I'm a Ryzen fan and the kinks appear to have been all worked out. Works great, not really any hotter than numerous Mac's I've used that have operated at similar temps for years. Easily upgradeable to 64GB RAM and 3TB of NVMe storage, which I did. Feels super sturdy and high quality compared to others I've handled at the store. Surprisingly good battery life when doing casual browsing. Great portable powerhouse.

Solid computer. Not as good as a MacBook, but a great PC.

Had it for like 6 months or so, gets a constant 100+fps while playing rust on max settings. Doesnt run too hot or get throttled like other gaming laptops ive owned. Havent had any issues or complaints.

I had some issues with the trackpad, but Alienware warranty service was amazing to deal with. This thing is rock solid and a great gaming machine!

Amazing laptop. Great power and performance for gaming, as well as amazing built quality. This thing looks very sharp compared to the competitors and the RGB lighting is very visually appealing as well. I unfortunately ended up returning this laptop because I was looking for something smaller to allow me to travel with a gaming laptop and my MacBook air for work. The M15 was just a little too big/heavy to make this practical.

Happy with this laptop. Nice AMD CPU, RTX 3070, 1TB M.2, 16GB RAM. I did my research and saw that others mentioned that it ran hot and they offset the TCC in the BIOS. You can dial down the CPU max temp from 100 to 85. You do lose a little performance, but it still runs games with no noticeable lose. I dialed down 10, so it runs max 90. Oh and wait for a sale. I went to look at it while it was on sale, and found an excellent open box. 300 sale, another 350 from the open box. Can't beat the performance for a 1300 gaming laptop.

Excellent product. Fast, good heat dispersion design that has been far superior to the previous MSI products I bought for years. Average temp of system is 75 when running intensive GPU products. Yes you pay a bit more but I have found this to be a superior product and the design is just better than others. It does get loud to keep it cool. But this protects whats inside. I also have found the ports on the back are a much better design than others. Having allot things plugged into the sides is not good and gets in the way with a docking station.

This is the second one purchased as the first one has been a good buy. The screeens are great and the computers have been running the games without issue. My kids are happy.

It’s a laptop. These things aren’t meant to be kept alive longer than 5 years and if it lives not enough to tell the tell then there will be faulty issues. The battery seems to have fried early since it’s manufactured date. Overheats quite a lot and it’s internal fan stays running even after the system reaches a cold temperature. The specs on this laptop are amazing. Ideal for running Jedi survivor, GTA 5, etc. it’s only issue is powering itself but capable of running everything

Bought this laptop, which was a big upgrade from my last gaming rig. For the price i got it for on black friday it was hard to pass up. Pros- Works as advertised, windows 11 right out of the box. Played games such as warzone, halo and apex with no problem at all getting an average 85 fps. Cons- After about 3 weeks, laptop wouldnt restart or shutdown. Had to hold the alienware power button to accomplish this. Fans really do run very loud. For me its tolerable but my wife found it extremely annoying as my set up is in our living room. From time to time in warzone id get some huge collapses in frames going from 90 fps to 15 fps which really sucks as a gamer. Also the fact this machine has 2 fans and a subpar cooling system when compared to the x17 made me question its longevity. I ultimately waited for the x17 to go on sale again and just returned this laptop last night. Great entry level gaming laptop but at this price point there are better options available.

I have a desktop with a 2080 ti but got this for "school" and portability for when I go out. This PC is pretty good especially paired with DLSS. It runs games on my 32:9 ultrawide well with older games and newer games with DLSS. The cooling is also decent and you can drop temps by changing a setting in the bios and limiting the boost. The 360hz screen is ridiculously smooth and overall this laptop is worth it if its on sale.
