All Laptops have one downfall

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The laptop is amazing and will run anything you throw at it, the build quality is all metal but the armrest has a soft texture to help with fatigue. Now for the worst part that comes with any and all gaming laptops. My unit came with screen bleed all over but at the top right corner it was showing badly. If you are spending upwards to $3000 in a gaming laptop make sure you return it for one with as minimal IPS bleed as possible. Other than that I think Alienware did great this year with their m16 and m18 lineups.

Great relation price - features.

I'm not a gamer per se, use it mainly for work and occasionally gaming. Installed GNU-Linux in it, had to install Debian 12 Testing as the Stable version had a problem in the installer, I thin it is due the Kernel version (Ubuntu 22.04 also is installeable). Overall a good computer if you buy it at sale.

Computer fails to recognize HD/SSD after 12 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 14 months, computer failed to recognize SSD/HD. All tests show the SSD working normally, but after 5 minutes of being powered on, the computer shuts down and goes into HTTPS Boot mode. Updated BIOS, tested the SSD, tested the connections, etc. -- everything is working normally but still have the same error every time I boot up the computer. Since it is 2 months outside the warranty window, I now have to pay for repairs. There is another reviewer here that had the same issue *just weeks* after buying the computer so it seems like a known problem. Very disappointed to have to pay for repairs a little over 12 months into ownership of a $2,000 computer.
