good: plays games well bad: very loud depending on the fan setting, the charger is a huge brick, and the charge port placement makes the charger fall out easily

Runs great and have had no problems once so ever minus the fact this laptop weighs more than I expected it to. It’s great if you just want to set it up on your desk and can handle most games at full graphics settings without absolutely melting but I wouldn’t recommend using it on the go unless you want a few back problems from lugging this absolute unit of a laptop around! The battery also doesn’t last very long so keep that charger handy. Otherwise 10/10 would recommend

Hello , im reviewing my M16 because im brand new to the gaming pc area. Ive watched tons of videos & ultimately i chose the M16 over the ASUS Zeph . Now , to my knowledge both of these PC’s are overkill in the gaming world at the moment . Especially running RTX 40’s with the new intel chips. That is important to share because the price point of the items were about 600 . Best Buy’s open box idea is phenomenal because i got to score a beast of a laptop for less than retail ! Running RDR2 & its immaculate and like i said the power of these intel + RTX are overkill for anygames at the momemt. Its handles starfield & anything i throw at it

Doesn’t heat up too much. Fans are a bit loud but you won’t hear them if you plan on wearing headphones. I had the open box version and only difference other than dents and small chips, (not sure if this applies only to open box) initially YouTube would stutter badly even though I had good connection and nothing else open. Other than that it plays hell divers2 and escape from Tarkov at a good 70-80.frames. Only downside to this laptop is honestly the 16 GB ram size, but luckily you could just upgrade the sodimm sticks.

Couldn't be happier with this laptop. It's fast, optimized and runs everything you can throw at it. Alienware software automatically pauses background process when gaming so all the power will be used in gaming sessions. I've played some current gen titles on it and haven't experienced any hiccups. Only downside is the fans are loud, so I use earbuds. The 2 thunderbolt ports offer options to more connectivity, plan on getting two monitors to hook up. Battery life is poor but that's what I expected. I also recommend getting a laptop cooling pad to extend it's life.

It is a fantastic laptop, but the fans will get super loud and it will become a heater so I highly recommend getting a cooling pad for air flow under it. The sound quality is great but it kinda has to be to drown out the sound of the fans. For this powerhouse of a laptop the battery is basically nonexistent due to how much power this thing consumes. Also, most games will recommend running in ultra settings but honestly turn down the graphic setting because it will overheat fast and it will start having frame rate issues.

I have never been more excited to ignore my high end pc to play on my laptop. The picture is so crisp and it runs so smooth on the 4070. This laptop is not too heavy but is on the heavier side. I usually ran a macbook and a laptop because i never planned on gaming but making the switch is definitely been worth it. Gaming on the go and at work is so fun and i even find myself ignoring my desktop at home and just using this. It looks good and it plays everything perfectly at 2560x1600. I would highly recommend on a sale

Best gaming laptop. Performance of this laptop is just amazing. It is little bit heavy and bettry timing is like 2 hours max. But best gaming laptop

This laptop has plenty of power. The abundant ports, excellent thermal cooling, and powerful CPU make it ideally suited for demanding tasks. It's worthy of a 5-star review for the right person and tasks. For someone who needs a basic laptop for email and web browsing, this laptop would be way more than what's needed, so not economical in that scenario. Also, it's big and heavy compared to basic midrange laptops. The extra size and weight is due to the advanced cooling, larger display, rugged design, and abundant ports.

Alienware used to be such a great brand to own but overall I don’t see much improvements from previous products Same fan noise , bulkier charger block from the prior version. Performance is great though , no issues so far as expected from a new laptop. Wish they could’ve done a little more for the price they are demanding.

Handles like a champ. Totally in love with the design of the body. Alienware really stepped up their product design game. And I don’t know much about computer performance in general but with the specs it has, it runs all the games I play perfectly. I can even stream VR games to my VR headset perfectly. Would highly recommend for someone who wants a gaming setup but wants something more functional and portable. Great deal for the price too.

Have had the machine for awhile now and have had no issues. Mainly used for Photography and Video processing. I did upgrade the memory to 32GB and added a extra M.2 drive and mainly use Topaz Video AI, Topaz Photo AI, Photoshop, along with a few other CPU and GPU intensive software packages with no issues. Would definitly recommend. Very pleased with the purchase of this machine.

Amazing laptop but its big and heavy. If you need something powerful, this is a good choice.

The design is robust. The build quality is top tier for rigidity with no flex when opening / shutting the screen. I did experience the system freezing up the first day of use unfortunately with simple video playback in VLC. Battery life is terrible which is understandable for a laptop with any 40 series video card. The weight is nearly double the competition. If I was to purchase again, I would switch to the MSI Stealth with nearly half the weight and double the RAM.

There are more powerful gaming laptops but for the price and the and power this laptop is great. With RTX 4070, Intel I7 and upgraded m.2 to a total of 3TB and 32GB memory this plays everything I need and more. All for around $1700. To buy with everything allready installed would be over $2250 so Once I got everything setup this things screams with power and performance. Very pleased so far.

Got it on clearance, and it's running great. The keyboard is disorienting, since it doesnt have a number pad, but I'm able to run most games on Ultra settings.

Runs games great. Fan noise is loud and can get hot. Very large power brick.

My Alienware laptop is a total beast, tbh! I'm talking crazy fast load times, smooth gameplay, and visuals that pop. The keyboard's fire, and the cooling system's on point, keeping things chill even when I'm crushing it in games. Build quality's top-tier, feels super premium. Honestly, I'm hyped about this laptop, it's exceeded my expectations big time. If you're lookin for a sick gaming rig, I'd def recommend it!

This laptop is amazing. It has worked perfectly for various games that are highly demanding in terms of graphics. I didn't have any problems or freezing on the screen, it has a powerful processor that met my expectations. The battery life is going to survive for a long day if you don't use it for games because if you do so it's going to low the battery faster.
