I was skeptical on purchasing an open box item. A few cosmetic blemishes but overall 85-90% imo. Purchased for $1050 with full warranty and perks of a new purchase. 1st new PC purchase since 2014, so for me it was a big jump. If you can get this under $1450, it's well worth it. 4070 variant. Runs most of the titles I've thrown at it at 75-100 fps with a mix of high/ultra. You can tweak a few settings to free up some fps like shadows, water, clouds, environment density. Battery life unplugged is not the greatest, nor is the screen brightness. I use my 77" C2 to mirror display and switch to 16:9 because this monitor is 16:10. 2560x1440 also because you'll quickly realize that if you're using a 4k display, this laptop 4070 variant can't hold its own. Might want to add another 16gb of ram. Other than these mentioned, the laptop is amazing. But isn't this what we really want, as we read reviews? We want to know the problems or issues or complaints. Overall, at my price point of $1100 (after tax), this was the perfect buy. If you can snatch it under $1500 with the 4070, don't hesitate.

Best Cost-benefit, I ran heavy games and programs with no problems, a little noisy when you put it at maximum to improve performance and the battery is not the best but it is amazing

Great laptop. I knew it was going to be larger and heavier, but with it for being so robust in graphics and capabilities. The one thing I did not expect is the charger capacitor is quite large and heavy as well haha. So, quite the part to travel with, but it will mostly be at my house. Everything runs smooth, looks good and graphics are great.

Amazing laptop. If you want to own an alienware for the first time buy this laptop it will guide you how to set it up to your liking and even show u the different modes options and custom presets. The laptop is very fast runs all games as of lately with no issues. I even have sound engineer software and that runs well too

Best gaming laptop everything is perfect but the only downfall would be the battery life. But I guess it goes for every gaming laptop out there I’ve been using this laptop for over 2 years now and it’s perfect owning a Alienware has always been my childhood dream and this laptop purchase made it possible. I’d like to thank Best Buy for making this opportunity possible and dell.

What a huge performance! I really love it! Its speakers sound so great, the graphic card has an amazing performance in each game that I've played. Also, the laptop's body feels so good and well done (obviously it's an Alienware laptop). You can do whatever what you want with this one.

Works well and handles demanding games. Don't want to sit in lap while gaming due to heat but otherwise a solid gaming laptop. Recommend running in quiet mode due to fan noise. Not much difference in performance between quiet and performance mode. Overall I am very satisfied with this computer.

This laptop is very powerful but I have decided to return it and exchange it for a Asus G14 for my wife. The main reason is the laptop itself is way too heavy for travels, also my wife does not play any AAA games so it was not needed. Overall the laptop does gaming justice!

I've been wanting one of these since I was a kid. The graphics are great, and framerate is perfect for me. I love the storage space it has, and I now have the ability to take my favorite games with me everywhere I go. The charger is kind of bulky though and the battery unfortunately doesn't last long enough for games.

The machine is excellent fast . On the downside the charger is huge and heavy . But not a dealbreaker.

This is my first Alienware computer and I wish I had gotten one sooner. The laptop looks gorgeous and runs games very well. It's build quality is top-notch even if it comes at the cost of a pretty heavy laptop. I upgraded this computer with more RAM and an NVME M.2 drive pretty easily.

For the price I was able to get this laptop for on sale, there isn't another one that has the same or better specs that's the same price(or cheaper). Bang for buck is definitely there. Seems well made and sturdy. The display is beautiful. I'm able to run most games on my 1440p ultrawide at around 100fps. It truly surprised me how powerful it is. The only downfall is the audio drivers. I have constant issues with my steel series headset, where the computer will not recognize my mic. I've tried all troubleshooting that exists, only to end up wiping the computer to get the mic to work again. I've found a temporary solution of using an audio driver from a MSI laptop. This is only a temporary fix because the alienware driver will automatically download and install itself after a day or two, then have to reinstall the MSI driver to get my headset to work. It's very annoying, and hoping to have a better solution soon.

The screen is very good. All the games run on ultra and the rgb look is very classy. In terms of heat dissipation, it has 4 fans that work very well. The sound of the fans is somewhat loud due to the power it is better to play with some headphones but the laptop is very good

Great quality laptop but heavy and huge heavy charger. Good for desktop use. Will easily play any game.

I have been using this laptop a lot and its been doing everything i expected and more. It runs Forza Horizon at max settings and runs very smooth the only thing is it is on the louder side when the fans are running at max speed.

This is my first gaming laptop I’ve ever owned. Coming from a custom built PC, I’ve always been weary of laptops. I purchased this while on sale here at Best Buy and haven’t regretted it since then. I use it not only as a desktop replacement, but also when I travel! It’s a beefy laptop with incredible specs. I’m super happy with this purchase and have recommended this laptop to quite a few others. I don’t think the battery life is bad for a gaming laptop, though let’s be real… you’re gonna want it plugged in.

Can't beat an alienware. Once i got my first one i was hooked. It's amazing that this laptop puts my hand built gaming desktop to shame. Granted i built it 10 years ago lol. But out of the box this was easy to setup and runs flawless without having to go in and change a massive amount of settings like i has to do with my regular dell desktop i also bought. Alienware isn't just a fancy name. The whole line is built different from dells normal computers and it shows right out of the box. If your on the fence spend the few extra bucks on the alienware and you won't be disappointed.

Very satisfied with this laptop and performance. The display is beautiful and the customizations available for keyboard display is amazing.

Great laptop. Battery life could be better but its decent for a high performing gaming laptop. High performance mode works amazing for keeping the machine cool while gaming.
