Good but you can get the i9 version with 32GB of Ram for a few more bucks. The screen is nice and having advanced Optimus makes it better. This will run anything you can throw at it and is very portable. I Would just wait until the better spec'd unit goes on sale since the Ram isn't upgradeable.

I have a lot of various laptops, gaming ones included, and this one takes the cake. Alienware really knows what they are doing. Aesthetically I like the design. It just looks like a fast laptop. The screen is nice and clear, there are a lot of the gaming lights around it, it's light but durable with smooth, silky, stain resistant finish. I like how you are able to customize all the lighting from the keyboard to the alien heads to the ambient light. I'd have to say my favorite part is the ambient light in the back. I think it makes it look cool but also makes the screen easier on the eyes. Some things of note that are typical with most gaming laptops is that it's battery life is not good during gaming. If you plan on gaming plan on having it plugged in. That being said, when you have it in battery saver mode and just doing non intensive activities it has really good battery life. Another thing is heat. Of the gaming laptops I thought this one does a really good job at dissipating heat but it still does get warm. With gaming the graphics were crisp and smooth. I didn't notice any artifacts or jitter during fast scenes. Everything boots fast with the SSD. The keyboard feels nice and is responsive. I used a Bluetooth mouse to make game play easier. It has really good immersive sound. The fans are pretty quiet. If you pay attention you'll hear them but they aren't loud enough to disengage you. I'd recommend this laptop for gaming or anything even though it's overkill. Everyone that's seen it or I've talked to about it are jealous and want one.

The specs on this laptop are pretty decent for the price. It ran pretty much every game I threw at it with no issues. The only con I can give is that thermals are very, very hot. Even when doing Windows Updates or MS Word. Make sure you get a laptop cooler with this.

This laptop from Alienware has 16GB of memory, a micro SD card reader, HDMI and USB-C port. It also comes with a 1TB SSD hard drive, meaning you will be able to load a few games on here with plenty of room to spare. If you are looking for a great refresh rate in a laptop this has an FHD 360 Hz display, which is one of the fastest refresh rates out there. Add to that a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB memory graphic card and you will fall in love with the graphics and game play. You will get clarity and an array of vibrant colors. The sound of this laptop is pretty good also. It is great for game play and movies at any volume, and it has some volume. If you are looking for a great sound for music, you may want to invest in a good headset. But as far as sound goes for a laptop, it is really decent. The processor on this laptop is great for playing games. I have played a few demanding games with this and it ran pretty smoothly. The battery life on this is like many other gaming laptops, you will want a plug nearby if you play for extended periods. This is a great gaming laptop for the price. You may consider the price a bit high, but consider what you are getting with this particular laptop. It is high-powered enough where it needs to be and works great with most all games and having a 1TB SSD card is a big plus in my book. It has everything I could want in a really good gaming laptop.

Great laptop but my keyboard isn’t working properly and I am still trying to figure out how to get a replacement since the closest Best Buy is about 3 hours away
