I'm no movie critic, but I can say I was not disappointed with this movie. It's my belief that this movie had a good story line and characters you can build a connection with. It was full of action, love and imagination which are all the elements I look for in a good Sci-Fi movie. Looking forward to the next installment.

The best movie I have seen so far in 2019. Lots of action. Flows nicely from one scene to another with each scene adding to the world building in the movie. The BlueRay 4K version is spectacular on my OLED LG TV. The special effects are awesome. It’s amazing to see Alita, the main character, as a completely CGI’d person.

I wish I had seen this in the theaters when it was out. The visuals are amazing and it’s a great adaptation of the source material. While its not perfect, it does show that anime can be done well in live action. The uncanny valley lurks its head through the main characters eyes but you get used to it quickly.

In all the clamor about females being represented in hero based films, people are getting too focused on the big franchises. You want a female hero done right? Forget Star Wars, Marvel and DC with their SJW and pseudo political subtext and agendas. Here's the epic, stand on her own, hero you've been waiting for.

Robert Rodriguez does another fantastic job of directing a entertaining movie . Yes it has violence on the Sci-fi side, but it is not as bad as the Sin City movies. This is a good movie to have friends over with there teen age children to watch and enjoy. It will keep your attention from beginning to the end.

Do humans have the capability to advance robotics into a human-like realm advancing only the good and moral traits? We will eventually get to the point of human qualities so can we guarantee that only good can come from it? This movie tries to answer that question and shows what both extremes can be.

Amazing film with action, storyline, graphics, visual effects and well developed characters that will draw the viewer in. Film is a superb blend of CGI and real life characters. Alita as a female action hero, can rival any out there. Cameron/Rodriguez and the great cast and crew created a masterpiece!

This was a real treat to watch I’m always amazed about the ability of the technology advancement of cg to create reality with human robots . You believe your seeing the real deal. This was a great movie had me at the very beginning and I’m looking forward to more of this heroine in the future.

Great live-action anime remake. I hope there will be a sequel, but probably not since no one saw it in theatres.

The James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez collaboration was genius for this film. James Cameron spared no expense to make sure this movie was done right and in good taste. The Alita character played by Rosa Salazar was well captured and believable and the supporting cast was brilliant !

Alita, for the mind of James Cameron and the direction of Robert Rodriguez, I a very refreshing SciFi movie. The only thing I really did not like about the film was the ending setting up an another movie. Franchises are getting a little old but that is the way of the world today.

I saw this at the theaters when it came out. I had to add it to my collection. If you are a fan of the original anime, you will like this adaptation to the live action movie. Much better than the Ghost of the shell live action. Highly recommend this for your anime collection.

Best Buy movies are always in great condition, and for a great price. Can't wait to watch this one!

Alita Battle Angel was a surprise favorite from last year for me. With probably some of the best looking visual effects from the last decade, it was such a blast to watch from beginning to end. Kinda thin in the plot area, but if you can look past the flat story and appreciate it on a fun, popcorn level then I think it's pretty decent. Plus, there are special features a plenty! I'd say this Blu-ray is worth every penny.

I thought the story in this movie was truly a nice one describing the beginning of how Alita came to be. There was a large range of emotional aspects within the story which created an almost human appeal to the cyborg girl. I hope they come out with a sequel to this.

The best live action movie from anime/manga yet. James Cameron's first movie since Avatar. Oscar winning actors. State of the art CGI. Superb blending of CGI and live actors and sets. Great action. Main character you can emphasize with. What more can you ask for?

This movie was very interesting, because it relates to things they are trying to do with AI now, its a galance into the future.

Got this because Robert Rodrigez directed and Christoph Waltz starred. Well worth the viewing.

Never heard of the anime until this movie came out and I was very surprised to see that the creators (for the most part) stuck close to the original anime series. (Wish there was more fighting involved though really) but still a good movie to sit down and watch!

I had been anxiously awaiting for this film to be released. I pre-ordered as soon as I saw it was available. This was a fun action vid from start to finish. I was familiar with the story. Though I admit the dialog was a little weak. But the action and the visuals make up that. It’s a very quick 2 hour run time. Give it a try!
