Effective EKG
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Kardia does what it's supposed to. I had trouble with the 6L by placing it on the knee. Maybe it's an issue with hair. I tried it on the ankle and I can get readings there. Kind of messed up that you have to pay a subscription to see the other 3 types of AFIB. I guess they need to make their money somehow though. I like that my BP cuff works with it as well so I have all my readings in a single app. That was a bonus.

Great so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally purchased the cheaper of the 2 but this one has more information. Easy setup, additional subscription service available but we use it with out. Can set up primary on phone and guest or different person on second phone. Can do just fingers or place on leg and get more information. If skin is real dry you may need to moisten the skin area on leg for it to work. Phone has to be very close to work and turn off NPC.

AliveCor - KardiaMobile 6L
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is such a great device for anyone that needs to monitor their heart through EKG. I bought this for my Mom who has congestive heart failure and has experienced multiple arrhythmia events/issues. The ability to do a 6 lead EKG from anywhere and save that information for your Dr is so great and can be very beneficial in helping your Dr with your care. Anytime you feel there is something weird going on you can do an EKG and save it or send it to your Dr right away. If you pay for the additional subscription you can get even more detailed reports and even request a cardiologist review your EKG. This thing is also very small and light, very easy to carry in a pocket or purse. I would suggest buying a sturdy case for it because it is really thin and I wouldn't want to break it or have it get damaged. I would highly recommend this device.

Love my KardiaMobile for Peace of Mind
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having a heart valve repaired, I began using the AliveCor -KardiaMobile 6L Personal EKG Monitor daily to assure myself (and my cardiologists) that no Afib or other anomalies were occurring. So reassuring, and so small! Easy to to each day, and takes 30 seconds.

Very cool 6 lead EKG.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 6 lead EKG is pretty awesome! The free data that the app gives you is more than enough if you already know how to read EKGs (which I do). The extra stuff that you can subscribe to may be worth it if you are unable to read EKGs. Over all, the device is very easy to use - at least with your ankle it is. For some reason I can never get it to work when using my knee (you have to either use your left ankle or left knee as one of the leads). For this reason alone I am giving it 4 stars rather than 5. I'm still glad I bought it though and would recommend it.

Impressed my husbands cardiologist
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought this with me to my husbands cardiologist appointment. I showed her how it worked and we compaired it to the machine they were using that had leads glued all over him. The readings were practically identical. The dr said it was a neat little device and explained what the lines were telling her. So its accurate enough to impress a cardiologist.

Excellent medical device for EKG
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is truly amazing technology, and very easy to use. It does a 6 lead EKG in less than a minute. I showed the output to my Dr who confirmed the accuracy by comparing it to one done in his office.

Get the 6L, you wont regret it!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So glad I opted for the 6L model. Cost was about 30% more than the standard ones, however the Doctor informed us that this was much more informative and easier for him to narrow down my prognosis. By having it immediately available whenever my heart was "fluttering" I was able to capture the event and record it in the app. Highly recommend this amazing device!

Easy to use and a great way to be confident
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device basically operates itself. You get clinical quality tracings your cardiologist can use and with practice you can get pretty proficient at looking at them yourself. It is called a six lead instrument, and it can produce simultaneous tracings on leads I, II, III, AVL, AVR, and AVF . You can also generate single lead tracings from lead I or lead II. Very useful for looking at afib or flutter as well as more complicated irregularities.

Incredible Heart Insights
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got the KardiaMobile 6L device for my occasional palpitations. So far, I have taken my EKG twice and have received normal readings both times. The app I downloaded to go with the device lets me send my EKGs to my doctor. Looking forward to using this when I experience palpitations to see what’s going on with my heart.

Amazing Cardio Tool
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little tool is amazing! We live a long way from my doctor and a hospital so when I am having problems I am able take an EKG and email it to my doctor. He was pretty surprised by what he say and thought it to be very helpful. This devise is able to detect many different types of problems. I got some kind of Kardia Care subscription but couldn't figure out how to activate the same so I never did. I save the EKG as a pdf but his email will not work with the pdf, Kaiser doc, so I convert it to jpeg and it works fine. If you have heart issues and need to know I highly recommend the KardiaMobile 6 lead EKG monitor

Very compact
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My father’s Apple Watch detected an Afib. It was loose on his wrist. So my son ran out to buy the cardio mobile. It detected the Afib immediately we took him to the ER and sure enough he was in Afib. My father wore a heart monitor for a month and it did not detect Afib. Cardio mobile was very easy to use.

Great ecg device even if it only lasts a year
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got to be honest, these things only last about a year. But the piece of mind they provide is well worth it. The Kardia device lets her know if she is in afib or just have some irregular heartbeats. I like the six lead version because it can connect to an android device using bluetooth which seems a little more reliable. We had the onle lead type and it was okay but occasionally had issues transmitting data. The documentation says they should last 2 years, but in our experience they only last about 1 year which is a little bit of a bummer. But it is so useful in helping my wife manage her afib that it is totally worth getting a new device yearly.

Just get it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this after my cardiologist recommended when i started to become asymptomatic. Background: Late 20's with former undiagnosed asymptomatic heart issues. This piece of technology is legit. For an additional amount, you get additional leads, or whatever -- which is better in value versus wearing around the actual holter. Its not the real thing but your MD can monitor the reports you send through the app. My issue was whether I should buy the new card, the 1st gen or this model. The card cant be recharged. once the battery goes out, its useless. Right now, I will use the monitor when I feel like I am or about to be tachycardic. the reports are easy to read and explanations are straight forward. The monthly subscription is kind if a crapshoot for $9.99; but Best Buy had a combo deal with the Kardia6L and the subscription. The report reviewed by a cardiologist from Alivekor is detailed and will advise whether you need to forward the report to your MD/contact them. Both the Kardiamobile 6L and the subscription is worth the investment if you have heart issues or anxiety about newly diagnosed heart problems. The keychain case only fits the 1st gen kardiamobile, but is also handy and can fit this one. Just not as snug or perfect as the 1st gen.

Seems accurate, very easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nifty little device that gives good information that can help your conversations with your doctors. The premium subscription is worth it to me because it's far cheaper than paying for the EKG evaluations at a medical office. Otherwise, it was very easy to pair with my phone (though I wish you didn't have to turn NFC off) and easy to get a good reading with all the sensors once I put it on my ankle.
