Great ecg device even if it only lasts a year

I've got to be honest, these things only last about a year. But the piece of mind they provide is well worth it. The Kardia device lets her know if she is in afib or just have some irregular heartbeats. I like the six lead version because it can connect to an android device using bluetooth which seems a little more reliable. We had the onle lead type and it was okay but occasionally had issues transmitting data. The documentation says they should last 2 years, but in our experience they only last about 1 year which is a little bit of a bummer. But it is so useful in helping my wife manage her afib that it is totally worth getting a new device yearly.

Nifty little device that gives good information that can help your conversations with your doctors. The premium subscription is worth it to me because it's far cheaper than paying for the EKG evaluations at a medical office. Otherwise, it was very easy to pair with my phone (though I wish you didn't have to turn NFC off) and easy to get a good reading with all the sensors once I put it on my ankle.

This works so well and though it would never replace genuine medical care it does give me peace of mind.

As an ER nurse, I am very familiar with EKGs. While this will never give you the true tracing that a real EKG would provide, as a home device it performs very well. There are variables that need to be remedied for the best outcome, like making sure the skin being contacted by the device is completely hairless, not dry, and that any movement or motion is eliminated as best as possible. That being said, it does give you 6 vantage points of electrical activity view which can give you a solid idea if anything is of concern. That being said, a little information can be a dangerous thing, and without the proper knowledge, could cause unnecessary concerns and anxiety about what is being seen on the screen. This is where their premium service with cardiologist consult can come in handy. Overall, I feel it is a solid device that delivers on its promises, and given it intended use and obvious limitations, can provide one’s own physician with some baseline info from which to start or maintain care of the uncomplicated cardiac patient, or general non-cardiac patient.

Pretty simple to set up and to use. Taking a reading is as simple as clicking on the App, clicking 'Record your EKG', placing your fingers on the two top sensors to activate and then placing the 3rd on the back of your knee or above ankle, then just waiting for reading to finish. If you have dry skin you can wipe the top of the knee or ankle with moist towl for better contact. I found this to be an issue at times, but easily resolved.

This device is great for people with A-Fib. You can use it to read as an EKG and even send the results to your cardiologist. Works great, sometimes you have to be careful where you hold it to get a good reading but works like a charm and can be a lifesaver!

Recommended by my cardiologist for spot EKG when having symptoms. 6 leads (unlike a smart watch 1 lead). Can be emailed shared with your cardiologist. Be aware that it is most useful with a subscription so consider that in your overall cost (The subscription seems like a good value for a short amount of time. Not so sure long term.)

I asked my doctor how good a Kardia Mobile could be considering how she connected 12 leads to me. She said that they are quite good but just don't deliver as much detail as her ECG. I purchased the six-lead version and it is very easy to use. You can also let a guest take their ECG, but their results will not be saved. My heart is quite good, I am happy to say.

After several cardiology appointment resulting in diagnosed PVCs and PACs, I was recommended to get an at home monitor I could use at my digression. I researched all of the best monitors and came across this Kardia monitor. It is so easy to use!! Only takes 30 seconds per read! And saves everything! Love it!!

So very glad i purchased! Very easy to set up, small enough to take anywhere! Was able to keep track of my dysrythmias and present them to my Cardiologist, after cardiac procedure was able again to keep track and then forward them to the Cardiologist and my PMD via the patient portal! Really worth the price!

Sturdy unit that connects automatically to my Moto G Power (2020) even though it's not on the list. Works well with the app and provides nice plots that can be easily saved to PDF files to be saved or sent to the cardiologist.

This device is a life saver..And I'm a witness to this occasion as it very easily and simply made the ability to "read" my heart in a way that I could conveniently email the results to my cardiology doctor. Very easy to use and very inexpensive as compared to other devices or processes.

I purchased the KardiaMobile 6L as an upgrade to my first generation KardiaMobile device (which correctly diagnosed my episode of atrial fibrillation, by the way). It offers a six lead tracing simply by adding the left leg (by contact with the left knee or left ankle). The app guides the user through the simple process of obtaining a tracing. I am very satisfied with the upgrade.

This works really well. I haven't had a doctor review it yet, but it seems consistent. My husband's and my readings are very different--as I would expect. I would buy this again, and would recommend it to anyone having trouble with EKGs in office catching heart palpitations.

I'm no doctor but it seems to work and its very easy to set up and use. I bought the six lead unit because it didnt cost too much more. I chose not to pay their subscription fee and just keep my test results history on my phone.
