You download the Kardia Medical app. to create your profile and create your account. Then you have to pair your phone to the KardiaMobile Card. This is a nightmare. Then you have to turn on the card itself, which is hard to do. You keep holding down the on/off button and press it till the light comes on. The instructions say nothing about any of this and by following the directions in the Instructions, you end up downloading 3 different apps and paying for services you don't need. Get the older model.
