Masterful, tight, classic hard rock! Yeah!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't come to bury Thin Lizzy, but to praise Black Star Riders! This was supposed to be the next Thin Lizzy album and it sounds like it, but Thin Lizzy without Phil Lynott is not Lizzy! However, this is not a bad thing, if you like Thin Lizzy this album is for you. The songs are melodic...the songs rock...hats off to Scott Gorham and his band of rock veterans for this great collection of songs! My advice: let Thin Lizzy rest in peace and continue on as Black Star Riders...don't let this be a one-and-done. Let's have more BSR!!

Instant Classic! Black Star Riders ROCK!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really everything that I said about their most current release (Killer Instinct) holds true for this first effort!! Just a high quality, fun to listen to CD. Highly recommended for fans of Thin Lizzy, as well as anyone who likes the hard / classic rock of the 70's & 80's... If I could offer just two words of advice, they would simply be, "BUY IT!"

If you like Thin Lizzy or just rock and roll!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I listened to this so much when I first got it that I had to hide it so I can relisten in a few weeks and rediscover it. Its what this Thin Lizzy fan has been waiting for for decades. Pretty solid all of the way through!
