Seriously, this is my second Alpine amp and it is killing it! :) The amp pushes a 10" Alpine Type R, i picked up used from craigslist and it really hits and sounds like a 12" sub. The price was $199, but they matched an online price with crutchfield for $149, so you just can't beat that. They don't match all online prices only with their selected competition, but luckily I found one and saved $50. Get it, you will be very happy and by the way, I used to run the same amp a few years back on a 12" type R and that pounded so much that it was too much bass for my little vw bug that I owned. This amp perfect fits my kicker 10 inch sub, I wanted a little more low end presence, but I didn’t need two twelves. This sub amp has a crisp sound and does well when paired with a speaker amp.

Make sure you verify the output at a given load but other than that, the wire lugs were easy to use and the amp was easy to install.

Alpine is the best, lots of power in a small package. I used this amp to add to subs to the Bose system on my GMC Sierra and it worked out perfectly

I have this running a Alpine R8- 8" sub in a Ford Ranger. Very nice power and great sound. I added a remote gain control to adjust the bass for each song. Highly recommend!

Excellent build quality and power. Hard to believe for its size that it pushes as much power as it does but the performance of the subwoofer tells me it does. Great unit

I purchased this amp along with a Alpine series SWS 12 inch sub. I wasn't looking for a ton of bass, but wow what a shock when I heard this cranked up absolutely worth every penny.
