First time using alpine 6.5 2 way speakers. This S-S65 alpine is really loud and clear . Installed them in my 08 Honda CR-V with pioneer 1330 nex head unit and rockfordfosgate 250w amp. Excellent clarity and good base . Highly recommended. Got them open box and in excellent condition as stated at Best Buy .

Great sound quality just wish I would have known that the built in tweeters would decrease the bass

These were recommended by the Best Buy installer to replace my stock Lexus speakers. You have no idea how much better these are than stock Lexus speakers. Much bigger magnets for woofer and a real tweeter. I am using the stock Lexus head unit and amp and these are great.

Crystal clear sound, i was testing these with the song "just the two of us" and right at the 2:33 mark, it really shines.

Exactly what I needed to replace stock speakers. Good price and sound quality.

They are decent speakers when powered by just a head unit but after I swapped to the alpine ilx-w670 and alpine kta 450 they woke up a lot and became a whole lot more clear and loud. They do lack in the low end bass and slightly on the mid bass but for how clear the highs are even at loud volumes I would recommend them 10 times over. If you want the punchy lows I would add subs with them.

Had these installed In my 2022 Honda Civic and am satisfied with the sound. I had purchased different speakers but asked for a recommendation from the Best Buy tech and he assured me these would be better. I have been happy with these for the last 2 months. These sound amazing and even better if you buy a great aftermarket amp to really get the most out of these.

Have always had Alpine speakers and when updating the stereo in my truck it was my first choice. They sound great are competitively priced and install is a breeze with supplied hardware and wiring!

Bought this for a hyundhai Genesis with lexicon system.. these speakers did a great job handling the output and sound great.

Great replacement for stock speakers. 2018 rogue. Very clean highs......forcing me to do the front now cause they sound so good in the back.

Bought this to replace the terrible OE front door speakers for my 2022 Ford Maverick. Replacing the tweeters in the front and the tiny speakers in the back would be too much hassle, so went with these that are much easier to DIY install as it has a tweeter inside of it. Needed a wiring harness (Metra 72-5602) and mounting bracket from Crutchfield to keep it easy (Metra 82-5605). Fits great. Blows the cheap OE speakers out of the water, though I bet any aftermarket speaker would do that.
