I bought these speakers in June 2012.
These speakers are used in the rear doors
of my 2012 Colorado.
These blow the stock speakers away.
I also replaced the front door speakers
with the Alpine component speakers,
and added an Alpine amp to go with
a pair of old subs I had to complete the system.
I might add I am still using the stock head unit,
can't imagine what upgrading to an Alpine receiver
would sound like.
I definitely recommend!

I bought these in August to replace the cheap blown factory front door speakers in my Chrysler 300. These included the somewhat non-standard 3 hole adapter plates necessary to fit my car. They are even more shallow than the factory speakers so they won't interfere with the power windows. Yet they have a much larger magnet and produce great sound from the factory nav radio. I don't run any subs or amps, just the stock radio. I was able to find adapter plugs online for a few dollars so I didn't even have to cut up the factory wire to connect them. Only took about 15 to install. One caution: you will need a few of the plastic door panel clips for the 300 because a couple always seem to break when you remove the panel. They were also easily found online. Or you can get them from the dealer.

Fit in the stock opening and was a big improvement over the old ones. If you like ear bleeding volume you will need an amp and a sub.

Replaced the stock front and read door speakers on my 2014 Focus ST. I had added a 10" sub and 300 watt amp already buy now I might take it out because these Alpines can handle so much bass. I'm running the stock head unit but these speakers seem louder and don't distort at all when turned all the way up. If you're going to buy replacement speakers you might as well pay a little more and go with the Alpines.

These sound terrible at any sound over 1/3rd volume, scratchy and distorted with absolutely no bass.
They are not worth the money to buy or the time to install.
only reason i am giving these 2 stars is that they are slightly less scratchy sounding then the SPS-610c

These speakers song pretty great compared to my old ones but I would recommend getting the matching set for the full car instead of front or back for good balance

I needed new speakers for my car. They fit my budget and my car sounds great. I wish they had been $75, but I guess that is what coupons are for...

I replaced the factory speakers in my car to improve sound. Alpine has a good reputation and the speakers were on sale, buy 1 get 2nd half off. The speakers don't seem to have much improvement over factory ones and don't seem to handle the the factory deck any better without distortion when turned up. Going to replace the tweeters and see if that helps. As of this time I'm disappointed with this purchase

I bought these speakers on reputation. When I installed them I was initially pleased until I started playing some more mid-range heavy music. They can't take it. They distort like crazy. It drive's me nuts! If any of the music I play has a piano solo or a vocalist who happens to sing in the mid range area, it's garbled. I'm saving money for a component system these things are getting the boot.
