I had these installed in my daughters Jag X-Type along with the JVC Bluetooth head unit. A very good combination. These speakers are very responsive with a very wide dynamic range and good, no distortion response. I would indeed recommend them highly. Especially for the price.

These are some really nice sounding speakers. They have great frequency response from lower-midrange and up. The bottom end is a little on the weak side. However, with the adjustable bass setting on the control head, the somewhat light bass comes life and the speakers can definitely handle it.

Purchased and had these installed for a Christmas present. The installation cost was more then what was discussed prior to installation and I was not informed until I went to pay in the end. The speakers sound really good in the car. Just extremely upset about the hidden cost of installation.

My son recently bought a new Volkswagen Jetta to replace his old one that died. We had bought speakers the year before and when he got the new car he wasn't able to take the other speakers and put them in the new car so of course we went back to Best Buy and spoke to Joshua the installation guy and he recommended certain speakers that meshed perfectly with the awesome stereo that came with the car. These speakers rock! Much better than the other original ones. The geek squad were very friendly and did a great job on the installation. It took less than an hour from start to finish! I will definitely come back to shop this store. The sale person was helpful and answered all of my questions about the different types of car speakers.

These 6.5" Alpine speakers sell for $99 a pair but if you buy 2 pairs of them at Best Buy and pay for speaker installation there's a $100 vendor discount from Alpine applied at the register. It was like buying one pair and getting one free. The speakers sound great with my stock stereo because I have an Alpine power pack pushing them.
