Love the sound of these speakers. Clear and have pretty good bass too

The original sound system in our kid's 99' Jeep XJ was on its last leg, so I searched the Jeep boards and found that some had success direct fitting these into the rear roof speaker bar. Despite some hesitancy from the Best Buy installer, he discovered the boards are correct, and the factory covers still fit! The sound is a thousand times better than factory, with crystal clear sound. Not much in the bass department, but that's to be expected. Great speaker, exceeding our expectations.

I still had Sony tube TV (13 yrs old and took up a lot of room), until this gem arrived. Loving all the features on the Smart TV - Netflix, youtube, etc.

Sound quality it crystal clear. Easy to install in the truck. Top notch speakers.

These speakers are definitely the best ones Best Buy has to offer in store for the price. If I were to do it again however, I would most likely order some of the higher end Alpines on best buys website that are available online only as there are some that have higher peak power wattage and will perform better than these. Overall I am satisfied with these speakers.

Always have loved Alpine...I am driving 4 of these speakers with an Alpine amp from 30 years ago...dang thing is bulletproof. Speakers sound great. BTW...in the 2000 Tacoma I put these in, no need to get the 5 1/4" which were recommended size in the front doors from Toyota...they don't fit...way too small. I used these all the way around.

Had installed in my sons Tahoe for his 16th birthday. Great sound. Very happy with sound quality.

I purchased a pair of kicker 6 1/2" door speakers and they only lasted a Month tops. I decided I wasn't going to waste any more money so i went with these Alpines. I can tell you, you get what you pay for, I spent a little more but these speakers are crisp and there is no chance of blowing these with the system i have

After some difficultly getting info on the speakers I needed for my car, it went smoothly. I visited the Best Buy in San Rafael and they told me the completely wrong info. Thankfully the guys in Santa Rosa know their stuff and was helped quickly and the install went flawlessly. AND it was super quick. Highly recommend!!

My son said best speakers he has had by far...in his 2000 Volvo killing himself trying to duplicate the sound ever since in his other vehicles and it's just not happening. Gonna try them in his BMW keep fingers crossed.

We had these speakers installed years ago and loved them, so when they needed to be replaced after my daughter and her boyfriend had the vehicle for a year, we replaced the door speakers with Alpine again. They sound beautiful and we now can enjoy music in the Tahoe again!

I out these in a vehicle that already had separate tweeters and these were lower in my front and rear doors. It's absolutely key that you set a high pass filter. I set mine at 120hz. Bass will destroy these. With a decent bass setup in conjunction with these, they'll go as loud as you need and maintain clarity.

I actually had the geek squad install tech steal the covers off of the display speakers because apparently they don't come with the mesh covers anymore. So I probably wouldn't have bought them if we couldn't have done that because they are really exposed. But they sound awesome for the price.

I'm liking my new Alpine speakers but now I have to update the rest of my auto speakers but that's a good thing.
