Good speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speakers are good but nobody told me before purchase that the tweeters don't fit my car! Now I'm stuck with them. I did ask if the alpine tweeters went in my car and they said yes. Can't review them if can't use them. Sorry

Good factory replacement speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Woofer produces awesome mid-low bass but the tweeters distort before you even hear the music loud enough. Buy the bass woofers and fond better tweeters!

Not as good as staff member boosted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One tweeter made crackling sounds right away and the other sound wasn't as good as I hoped.

Don't buy this!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased these along with rear speaker of alpines. Worse purchase ever. These speakers including the rear speakers are no good and even with an amp hold no punch and distorts. Sound quality with no amp no good. You'd think for the price of these you would have great sound and some what bass to them. Nope not at all. What was interesting to me is that the stereo guy at the store recommended these.

Not as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The peak and rms numbers should be cut in half. Turned my Fosgate amp as low as it could go and it still crackled and popped. Not worth your time.

Horrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could not handle power coming from stereo and amp. I could barely turn the volume past the half way point before it started distorting. I actually believe I blew the tweeters in less than 30 days. I will be taking the entire speaker system back.

Don't buy these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate these speakers! I installed them myself the first time and they sounded horrible the only sound came out of the tweeters and then they blew but thankfully I had the warranty then I decided to just spend the money on having best buy install them and I am having the exact same problem, horrible sound quality.

Killer speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed these, in the place of the factory components, in the front doors of my 2000 Silverado extended cab. Paired with Alpine's SPS-406 speakers in the rear and a Kenwood KDC-BT752HD head unit (all from Best Buy), my truck sounds absolutely phenomenal! In the car audio bay, they had the wiring harness pigtails that plugged into my factory harness so no need to do ANY SPICING! Sweetness! I have yet to find the limits of this setup, just distortion free sound all the way up. Everyone that rides in my truck now comments on how great it sounds.

Great upgrade for stock speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want to upgrade your stock stereo setup in your car, I highly recommend these speakers for your front door and tweeters. These speakers can be bought at a huge discount and are well worth every penny. The pros are that they are designed to work well with your stock head unit. But you'd get the most out of them with a little more juice. I added an Alpine Power Pack because it was small enough to hide behind the head unit. The added power really makes these speakers shine. The tweeters are clear and not shrill thanks to their silk dome. The only issue is that the woofer will have good mid bass, but you will need to add a sub if you want really deep, heavy bass. The cons beside the low bass response is that the included bass blocker for the tweeter really didn't filter out enough frequencies to keep them from getting too many bass frequencies. I had to turn the bass level down on my head unit to keep my tweeters from clipping at how volume with certain songs. I remedied this by installing some CT Sounds crossovers that would clear up the frequencies for both the woofer and the tweeter. After this, I could get fuller, clearer sound out of the set of components. Another minor issue for my install was that the tweeters are big. They didn't fit in my sail panel or A pillar. I ended up getting them flush mounted in my door panel. This ended up creating a great sound stage, but may not be ideal for your setup. Keep that in mind if you are looking for versatile install options. Now that these speakers are selling at half the regular price, these are the best option in my opinion for upgrading your stock set up. They are mid-level quality at economy/entry level price! Get them before they no longer make them! At the price, it makes getting an amp and crossovers more affordable and really helps these speakers reach their potential.

Great inexpensive components for OEM replacement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed these components in my 2011 Honda Accord and they sound amazing compared to the factory oem speakers. The 88db sensitivity ratings translate to clear highs, good mids and very high volume levels without an external amp. The wired crossover tubes are kind of large but still makes for a very easy installation. If you have never bought component speakers these would be a great first set and eventually amplify them with a sub.

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I got these for a smoking deal because of Best Buy's price matching...only $78.00! Super easy to install. The crossover can easily be tucked away without any major hassle. The sound is great. I really recommend this system if you are looking for a major factory upgrade. Obviously they are entry level and geared towards the budget minded, but that's me! I'm very happy with this purchase and would still recommend the speakers even if I didn't get them at such a smoking price.
