This is a really nice head unit with easy to read display and pretty easy to use interface. Bluetooth connection is wonky at times if you don't already have bluetooth turned on on your mobile device when you start your car. I noticed that if i decide to connect via bluetooth mid trip i have to turn the head unit off and on again to get sound. Could be a glitch with iPhone but I haven't done any research to clarify. Regardless, its a solid unit and works great. The price is pretty darn good too. Cant wait to connect an amp and subs to see what this unit can really do.

I brought this radio for my son's truck. It is great for the price. It has great sound, and he loves the blue tooth function. It also connects very easy to the iPod and even charges direct. It was a Good choice.

This stereo works great and leaves nothing to be desired, I am very happy with it. I originally bought a lower level model (CDE-143BT) but was disappointed with the outputs (only two RCA connections, both at 2 volts). If you don't plan to connect an aftermarket amp I highly suggest buying the 143BT instead and saving some money. I got this model after and am very happy with the amp outputs. I also had a Kenwood stereo in between the two Aplines and I returned it because the quality was severely lower. The sound output is great and Bluetooth works wonderfully. I'm also a big fan of the four levels of available dimmness for night driving. I highly recommend this stereo.

Easy setup and couldn’t believe the quality of the sound once hooked up. I bought this on sale for $65 and feel like I stole it. Has a lot of features on it that I am not used to and will have to refer to manual to setup correctly

My factory radio in my older Chevy truck was about to go out, so I replaced it with the Alpine CD player. The installation was simple, and the unit looks and sounds great!

Purchased this unit to run a budget build and I was quite disappointed. It doesn't deliver the quality of sound you would expect from Alpine. The highs were not brilliant, the mids were not crisp, and the bass left a lot to be desired. The Bluetooth source was just poor...almost like listening to an AM radio station. The tuner, CD, and USB sources were tolerable if you adjusted the unit's sound options in an extreme way. The AUX source was able to deliver satisfying sound but only if the file was of the highest quality and you adjusted the sound options in a crazy way. This is my fifth Alpine unit and this one just doesn't cut it. It looks nice, it's crafted well, it's easy to use, and it costs next to nothing...it just doesn't sound good.....it sounds muddy and almost analog. It didn't bring the brilliance, of an otherwise well above average sound system, to the forefront. If you're an audiophile....don't even bother with this. If you just want a radio that says alpine on it and let's you play different types of media sources...then go for it. I upgraded to the CDE-164BT and it reminded me of why I love Alpine....The CDE-143BT nearly scared me over to another brand.

Picked this up on a whim, easy to use and works great. Couldn't ask or more based on the price, not worried about certain aspects just looking for a good deal on a quality brand. Found it here!

This car stereo was a great value for it's quality. It's easy to operate And has all the basic functionality to provide adequate entertainment .

Having a Bluetooth radio is amazing, once connected to your phone, your radio becomes your phone by playing clear sound through your vehicle speakers while talking on the phone hands free.

I'm very pleased with this BlueTooth/CD car receiver. Easy to program. It has great options. Easy set up. Love the removeable faceplate. Sound quality meets expectations. So far having no problems.
