Average , but good for money worth,seems to have issues with losing connection with satellite

I bought it because of features and to install it in the glovebox of my '69 muscle car. I will post another review once installed.

I got what I expected for the price I paid. Anything for under two hundred dollars is not going to blow you away in the car.

I will be able to do this after I hear the product. It is being installed on the 25th of January.

Clock is not displayed when unit is off, not connected to central control in vehicle, jumps channels too easily

Tuner is ackward to use while driving--should be much easier to change channel without "search function"

I just picked up a 2009 Chevy Malibu in A-1 shape. At any rate, the stock stereo in my car was nice, but, I started having issues with my CD player throwing out errors and spitting out my CD. not to mention my Malibu did not come with XM installed like the newer cars that are pretty much standard today. My wife has the 2011 Malibu with all the bells & whistles like XM I fell in love with the serious XM and went for broke and picked up this Alpine stereo. I couldn't be happier. Just a note of caution to anyone with stock speakers in your car, keep a watchful ear as to make sure you do not overpower the speakers or you'll have a mess of blown out speakers. I know in the not to far future I am going to have Best Buy in Kingston, NY their mobile techs install a nice set up with all the base, amp/s crossovers, etc. I can't say enough about how professional as well as courteous the staff is. The tech never looked down or made me feel dumb because I had questions. This was a first for me to ever have a tech install a stereo in a car. They did nothing short of 100% job. I still can't get over how nice of a job they did. No wires, no nothing, no issues. All I can say is I am 100% stoked. Heck, for the extra few bucks to have anything professionally installed is well worth the peace of mind all by itself. All I do know is, the mobile techs at the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, N.Y. know their business. Rock on guys. I will be back in the short future to have a nice set up of speakers, amps, etc installed by you's again and again. Thanks ah million man.

I have only had this radio for a day, but I am really enjoying it. I contemplated keeping my dilapidated stereo and simply purchase a stand alone satellite radio, but the price difference was well worth it. I mainly purchased it for SiriusXM, but the bluetooth, iPod and vastly improved sound quality (over old stereo) is unmatched. Not to mention the fact that I now do not have a stand alone satellite radio randomly attached inside my car, just waiting for my kids to break it. I am a novice (at best) when it comes to installation of electronics, so I had Best Buy complete the install. The added cost was well worth the piece of mind knowing that it would be secure and done right. They were very professional and did a great job with the install and explaining the set-up, pairing my phone, etc.... Cons: None really, but if I had one, it would be that I would like for the preset buttons to be a bit larger. But again, not a big deal at all.

I have had the stereo for nearly 2 weeks and still have not been able to program specific radio stations, or change the clock. The clock is so small it is very difficult to see. I'm truly sorry I purchased it. I wanted a Kenwood would but the store didn't have any that were in my price range.

Buyers who shop at Best Buy stores need to realize that there is Alpine, and then there is everything else. The DACs (digital analog converters) found in Apline car stereos make a huge difference in sound quality. The others don't have DACs. I first purchased a Kenwood because I liked some of the features. But, it sounded like a tin can. I replaced it with an Alpine, and immediately noticed the punch and clarity that I was hoping for. Do yourself a favor, and get the Alpine the fist time. I didn't give it five stars because the screen won't scroll artist AND song in XM mode. Also, while paying extra to get a remote, it would have been nice if the remote had numbers so that you could skip to another channel without having to scroll through them.

I bought this product simply because I needed a Bluetooth phone, and the sound quality is terrible. It would be nice if Best Buy would contact me about its issues.

Replaced a Kenwood when it failed after only 2 years with the Alpine 145BT. Installation was easy, the sound is much better than the Kenwood and the Siris XM radio is an added bonus. The controls have a quality feel when operating them. Excellent product and recommend it to others. BTW.... Best Buy matched the internet price of an online electronics discounter.

The power and sound and the CD player are excellent. I play it on all my drives.

I had the unit installed at Best Buy in Oceanside. ran into a problem with cigarette lighter that same day and I took it in the next day and the supervisor made it right! I love the Sirius XM radio as I have so many channels to listen to now. I have always wanted to own an Alpine unit and I finally got one at 49. It makes driving so enjoyable even when you do a 100 miles a day.The IPod connection is right up front and easy to access. If you have a local favorite radio station I have noticed great radio reception with this unit. I would recommend browsing through the instruction CD they give you as it will answer a lot of questions. I also got three months free premium service with XM. I highly recommend this unit if you enjoy music as much as I do. I couldn't be happier.

This is my first alpine head unit and I have to say I'm very impressed. I have the MRV m500 amp and 12" type s to go with it and its just simply a great setup. You will not be disappointed. Get it and enjoy.

just a great easy to use stereo. best buy did a great job installing this unit along with speakers and amp. bought on sale . free sirius for 3 months.
