This Stereo is good, but there is a lag in the steering wheel controls with the stereo. The stereo is not intuitive; you have to know which button to push and how many times to get what you want. I still haven't figured out how to answer the phone with the control on the steering wheel...plus, as I said before, there is a lag time, so you don't know if you are successful in answering the phone or not at first. But, listening to the music via different sources of input is a nice change.

The sound quality is more than I expected first of all. I enjoyed the Bluetooth connectivity although it is manual connect each time especially if it hasn't been used overnight. The radio presets are useless as it reverts back to default and needed to reset with each use. The phone, I just dial from my iPhone instead of the phone speak button as it does not pick up command easily.

Easy installation with the appropriate kits that were suggested by the store representative. Outstanding sound and easy to program after install. Very pleased with the radio as I wanted a radio that was able to receive SiriusXM without having to search for an available FM channel every hundred miles or so. This fit the bill and then some.

Installed in a Chevy Suburban. Hard to reach and operate the small controls and page through complex operations while driving. Otherwise, it is a very nice unit that performs across a wide range of features. Specific gripe: the time is not always displayed...annoying to have to page through the display to get the time.

Great sound, hands free calling, did self install works perfectly , had to up grade speakers

bought this for my husband for christmas, originally went to buy xm radio, the guy i dealt with shifted me towards installing a whole new radio, which also included xm radio. my husband was so excited to have a cd player again and xm for his vehicle. i'm much happier with this purchase vs. just the xm. the components to install the system is a little expensive, but overall, i'd make this purchase again.

I'm sure this isn't always the case, but I walked into Best Buy asked what was the best radio for my 1999 Jeep Wrangler and was immediately given the choice of 2. The amazing part was the team there was able to install it for me immediately and within an hour of walking into the store, I drove out with a new stereo for my husband's birthday. Radio is exactly what I expected and installation was fast and clean.

Very good radio. Sound quality is excellent. i love the Sirius XM satellite radio and the ability to remove the head. Lots of presets too. I had it installed because I was going on a 2000 mile vacation and I'm glad I did. It worked flawlessly.

I wanted a new car stereo that I could connect my phone to via bluetooth, and that also had SiriusXM. This is a terrific stereo that has everything- I was even able to hook it up to my steering wheel controls. Once you learn all the controls it's easy to navigate even while driving. It's perfect for what I wanted, and the price was right too.

I really love my Alpine Stereo. It was totally worth it for me to upgrade my stereo system. I especially like that it has Sirius XM because I now have a variety of music to listen to without the commercials. I had it installed through Best Buy. The service technicians were efficient and walked me through step by step how to use it.

I bought this alpine head unit as my own Christmas present. I am very happy with it. It has every feature I could ask to and is expandable when I want to. Will support a sub and power amp if I want one later. But even with built in amp sounds great. I forgot to install the mic and I can't use the Bluetooth cellphone features because it bypases the mic on your phone. But that's my fault. I need to install that next. I may bring it in to Mobile install at bestbuy as I want it custom. I also need to install the Satellite antenna correctly as its in my dash now. Weirdly it works there. Guess I got lucky. Overall great quality and features and simple to install with right kits.

I chose this unit to lean up the dash in my 2002 GMC Sierra. Before I had a Sirius-ZM unit hanging on an air vent, a makeshift unit or my iPod, and no hands free phone device. This unit from Alpine covered all these needs, and looks and sounds great.

I bought this radio and went home and called SiriusXM to see about getting service for my car. I'm a Pearl Jam fan and they have an All Pearl Jam station...I wanted Sirius just for this station....but not $20 a month for ONLY my car... This radio sounds great, works easily, has bluetooth, and voice command. Cant beat it. Unless you are serious about Sirius Radio...I wouldnt buy this model...not worth the added charge for something you wont use...there is one exactly like this one that doesnt have Sirius capabilities, is cheaper and works great also!

For it's purpose, this unit is an excellent choice for anyone considering purchasing a radio with a CD and blue tooth as well as iPod usage. I don't even have to plug my phone into the head unit to listen to my music or my podcasts. And the handsfree phone option is a real advantage for someone traveling in the car a lot.
