This is opened box product and BestBuy tried to sell it as “ discount new product “. I was shocked when opening the bag. As you can see that the pickup tag was stick on the box and the seal was peeled off and was put back again. How can BB treat a member elite plus like that. This is only a $11 product, what happened to all my expensive products that I bought from BB, did you do the same thing?

Glad I waited to write this review. This speaker worked well for about 9 months, then suddenly it wouldn’t recognize my phone. I’ve called for technical support and after going through the steps they told me that it must just be defective. Should have lasted longer than that, definitely not worth the money.

I took my 9 year old to pick out a Bluetooth speaker for a birthday present. She picked out this one cause of the color and and size. It sounded ok in the store and was cheep, so I got it for her. Problems with battery life, sound quality and just working. Might take it back

This item has a very short battery life compared to less expensive wireless speakers. It's loud but the quality when it is loud is poor at best. It will vibrate itself off of surfaces at higher volumes as well. The call quality for the user is pretty good but for the person on the other end of the call it's bad quality. It will not auto connect to the phone nor will it disconnect easily when done using it. I got it on sale and very happy I did but even at the sale price it was not worth it. May want to spend your hard earned money on a different product.

It is supposed to be shock resistant and tough but the plug is micro usb and weak crap, i hate it and wish i had bought something indestructible

Christmas present disappointment hardly any volume Although the 1st one I purchased for someone else was a little Louder

It sounded ok a bit tinny. I was ok with that but the plug was pulled out a bit to aggressively and the whole back came apart!

I bought this because it claimed to be able to connect via Bluetooth. It does with my phone, but not the Sport Clip MP3 player I purchased at the same time. In addition, I cannot adjust the volume. I even asked the Geek squad for help. The best they could come up with is it isn't compatible with the Sport Clip. Incidentally, this item and the Sport Clip are hanging on the same display and there is nothing saying they are not compatible!

It broke less than four months after purchasing it. Don't bother with this item.

We have owned this speaker since August of 2017 and it has been nothing but WORTHLESS! The audio is poor, it cuts out frequently, and the range is an absolute joke. Taking it even a few feet away and it begins to lose the connection and cuts out! Adding now to the list of other faults, the charge seems to not be holding and will not last more than a few hours! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!

This speaker did terrible out of the box. It struggles to connect to bluetooth.

This was the second speaker I bought because I wanted to pair it with my first one for surround sound, but when I got it it seems like it wasn't built by Altec. The overall shape is the same, but it's a lesser quality and won't pair with the other speaker.

Sound is nice I should've paid $10 more for the next size.

Worked for a week now it won’t connect to my Bluetooth

I was not successful with getting a strong Bluetooth connection. While the set up was easy, the connection kept dropping even when the speaker is next to the device. Tried multiple devices to ensure it is the not the device that is causing the issue.

Seems to be some problem in manufacturing quality control. This particular unit did not work after many attempts whereas the other I purchased on the same day worked fine. Was too long a drive to return it. It would have cost more in fuel to make the drive. My loss.

Th his little guy seemed great at first. Sound was great. And after just a day using it the sound quality was not the same and it wouldnt play any louder than my phone did which defeats the purpose of having a speaker.

Had for two weeks stated out ok then couldn't connect via Bluetooth, had to keep trying to pair, tried several different devices same issue. Returned to store got JBL Bluetooth speaker works way better.

After the second time we used it it stopped working. I am tired of buying things at Best Buy and having them stop working with NO help from them. Won't buy anything from them

This is a tiny speaker. I've bought Altec before. They're not big, but sound good. This one sounds tinny, I listened on store floor model and returned it without opening it after an online order. Disappointed, Altec.
