This was a perfect fit for my needs for small portable speaker to work with a small portable player. Sound is great, it is easy to use, and very durable.

I have other Altec Lansing speakers and seen this at a super low deal of the day price. I just went to a Hotel for the weekend and took this speaker. Great sound, super light, and water proof. Highly recommended and if goes on sale again at a super low price, going to buy alot more for stocking stuffers. Highly recommended.

A great little speaker that gets very loud. Pairing is super simple, sound comes out super clear. Holds charge for a long time, too! Only negative is that if the volume is turned up too high (not needed but I wanted to see how loud it could get), the speaker bounces and vibrates heavily. Best for casual use.

Wanted to get a very portable speaker for a couple of different uses, and this one is really small, It fits in a computer bag, and the Bluetooth feature lets me use it with computer, cell phone, local A/V system, and who knows what else. Being battery powered, I can take it just about anywhere. And it sounds really good for such a small speaker.

I bought one to clip on my backpack for hikes. Also slips easily into a briefcase. Pairs easily and reliably with my phone & tablet. Remarkably good sound for such a small package. It can't compete on audio quality or battery life compared to my Altec Lansing bluetooth speakers that are the size of a brick, but portability is they key selling point for the Baby Boom speaker. The carabiner clip that comes with it feels a little flimsy, so I bought a better one. Minor, but worth noting. During a recent half-price sale, I bought 3 more as stocking stuffers for my children. The only difference I can see between this model and the similarly named Baby Boom XL is that the XL version comes with a 3.5mm audio port for a wired connection. Doesn't seem worth the extra money to get a cable port when the whole point of the speaker is wireless connectivity.

Alter Lansing baby boom portable blue tooth speaker is a great little speaker. It is water proof for sure. I dropped it in the hot tub and the baby boom still worked great. It is small enough and light enough to travel with. You can just clip it onto your back pack and go.

We love using this to travel and for using at home in the shower. Loud enough and small enough for what we need it for :)

I needed a small speaker for listening to audio books in my car while traveling. This little speaker puts out plenty of volume!

A slick little device, with surprisingly good sound. The basses are not highly accentuated and the sopranos are not too tinny. It connects very well with my Apple devices via Bluetooth and the battery life seems reasonable for it's size. Well done Altec Lansing.

Worked really well for my Hawaiian Vacay! Battery lasted half the week before I needed to recharge and the sound is awesome

I've bought three of these when they go on sale. If you keep an eye on them, when they drop under $20 its well worth it. I keep one mounted on my bike and have no issues hearing over the wind, and the bass is surprisingly good. And if you buy two, then you can link them for stereo sound.

Bought this product for my daughters. They love that it’s small enough for their pocket but sounds great and loud.

The size and hook makes it easy to take anywhere. We want it for our bike rides and sitting at the beach or patio

This little guy puts out some serious sound. It travels really well too.

This speaker is nice and lightweight. It is water proof and produces a decent amount of sound, although obviously more so in a closed room. Not great for a party, but pretty well good enough for hiking, etc. No battery indicator through the phone screen though!

I was ultimately amazed at the volume, clarity and bass (it's not earth moving. But look at it's size). Very impressed. Especially when you can just throw it in your backpack or whatnot and lose no room for whatever else. It's pretty impressive!
